Good
The hotel was so rundown and dirty—floors had visible dirt on carpets, stains all over bedspread, mold all over grout—that I left immediately after I checked in. Piped in air freshener smell was overwhelming, too. I had a dog, and it was pouring, so I didn’t even bother to check out or ask for a refund. I just got in the car and left. The front desk associate was very nice when I checked in, so no complaints there.

Nasty need to do better with the cleaning bathroom was just nasty. I seen rouches couldn't sleep for fear of bugs and the twinker outside all jacked up on meth juice. Never again

great one night stay en route to another destination.
Room & staff were great! Only lost one star because our refrigerator didn’t work at check-in but this was fixed during our stay and staff allowed me to use another refrigerator for our insulin until ours was fixed.

Love the shower!!
Bathroom was dirty when we arrived and they took the hair out of the drain and didn’t bother to clean the rest of the tub. Bed was very uncomfortable and the roach motel next to the fridge was over booked. The pavement in the parking lot was busted up, just an over all bad experience.
Nice staff
Old rooms, dead bugs on bathroom floor. Just overall tired and run down. Staff is pleasant, and sheets were clean. A place to lay your head for the night.
The rooms have an updated appearance, however some finished seem rough. The bathroom/shower in particular.
We also had a hard time getting hot water in the room

I came into Newberry not knowing the town so I made this reservation. 1st impression was that the "pool" was empty and a blue tarp is draped in it, that was the start. Walked into the room and there are visible liquid stains on the wall and bed covers!
I was tired from travelling all day so I decided to grin and bare it. Woke up to scratching in the room, I went into the bathroom and saw a RAT run into a hole in the air vent! I spent the rest of the early morning in the car i rented.
I checked out in the AM requesting my money back since Expedia already charged my whole stay. I have not received that refund! And I was charged that first night stay!!!
