All around I would say very good.
Pros:

The young man that checked us in Friday night 5/29 was excellent in all respects. He went above and well beyond to make the process easy and pleasant. I had the chance to watch him in action as there were people ahead of us and behind us. All round a remarkable performance by this young man. All of the other staff that evening and in the morning were exceptional. They did a great job of making my stay pleasant despite the ongoing property updates. There was only one exception of an excellent staff.

Cons:

At check out my experience was the opposite of the check in. The young lady was bored with her job and condescending. A night and day difference with the excellence of the balance of the staff.

Pros:

Lied about their breakfast being a full breakfast because they were doing construction parking was very limited. Room was very nice.

Clean rooms and convenient location.
Pros:

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was just off the interstate. Shopping was nearby.

Cons:

The hotel is under renovation. There was no indication of this when we booked the stay. No swimming pool. The breakfast room was relocated and consisted of microwaved items and grab and go food.

This is my go to every time I stay in Rapid City. We enjoy the pool and do not feel uncomfortable being Native American!
Pros:

Employees were very courteous and respectful!

Cons:

The bed was a little uncomfortable, may just be the one I had.
