Booking.com didn't attach a card to my account, when I paid a head of time. So I almost was charged twice.
The front desk staff were great! Very helpful and accommodating! The janitorial staff was on it every morning offering housekeeping which I appreciated.
The rooms weren’t the cleanest. The first room we were given reeked of dog urine and when I check the beds one of the mattresses had a stain. The second room was better, but still not great. The first night we were only able to use one bed because there were stains on the sheets so we had to have them changed out in the morning. The bathroom was very small and could use a little maintenance. The shower head was falling out of the wall, but it was still useable so not the biggest deal but definitely not very pleasing to look at.
A little on the cold side
The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area was large where my family could sit together and visit.
I booked 4 rooms for Friday and Saturday nights through booking.com for my mother's funeral . I called the hotel directly a day later to reserve Thursday night for 1 room. The hotel went ahead and reserved that then called one hour later and said that night was completely booked and took one room away from me for Friday, Sat. When we checked in they wanted to charge me a no call no show rate for Thursday night and blamed booking.com. The GM did decide not to charge us but then checked us in personally . I looked on my Discover bill after we checked out and he did charge me for Thursday night when we said he wouldn't . I feel like I have been scammed.
