Close to where needed
When I opened the mini bottle of lotion mere minutes after getting to the room there was an inch long black hair in the cap indicating it was clearly refilled/used and placed back.
New and clean
Clerk at registration was especially helpful.
Close to Great Taste
The room was clean. The check in lady was very friendly. The checkout man was not and smelled like cigarette smoke.
The breakfast was subpar. The scrambled eggs and bacon were almost completely cold.Limited options compared to Hilton Home2Suites or LaQuinta motels. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.
Michelle Edler was very welcoming!
What a beautiful property! Right in the center of everything I needed to be at, but I really felt at home there and the staff was very accommodating.
This was a great place to stay for us. We were moving our daughter into her house for graduate school at the UW Wisconsin Madison so it was very convenient. We had pulled a trailer and when I asked about trailer parking the front desk told me that there was a sign out front that says no trailer parking and that it would be towed however they did allow us to put it into a stall and unhook it from our truck and keep it there.
As far as our stay, the property was well cared for the room was comfortable, even though we were in a “queen deluxe” room that I’m pretty sure stated there would be two queen beds. They were actually two full size beds, but that was OK for us. The room was very quiet, which was great. I didn’t hear any water running from rooms around me or from upstairs nor any outside noise.
The self serve breakfast was good. My husband had the waffles which he said were excellent. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely return to this property!
Very quiet. Great breakfast with excellent coffee. Clean. Great outdoor space except lots of spiders!
Good place for stay
Wonderful stay would recommend
It is one of best hotels days I have had in a long time
It was comforting, Serene and the staff were very friendly
Traveled to Madison to meet friends on campus. This hotel is a bit outside of downtown but just a short ride into town if you bring your bike. The hotel was clean and staff were professional. This was also one of the cheaper rates around the area. I’d stay here again.
We loved the location. It’s right on the bike trail and next to the lake. 10 minute bike ride to downtown. Easy 10 minute walk to the Allianz Center. Liberty Station is a great restaurant that is nearby with a beautiful outdoor patio. Great breakfast. Our room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
This was the most bizarre and horrible check-in experience I have ever had. There were a ton of people in the lobby waiting to check in, instead of the staff having everyone form a line. They proceeded to call out names of guests for 20 minutes. These guests weren’t even in line waiting. This process held everyone up most guests were there to go to the Morgan Wallen concert, therefore making all of us late. They could see everyone was beyond frustrated, and continued this bizarre horribly slow process of calling out names of people that weren’t even there. Common sense should have prevailed and they could have checked everyone in quickly. They had one lady calling names and the other employee activating keys of guests that weren’t even there. It was a total waste of time. All of us waiting were beyond frustrated.
I normally love the Marriot but this time it was just ok. We did not get a clean very well. No wiping down of bathroom beds we’re not made more than what we did before we left. No replacement lotion or soaps or wash cloth I had to go ask for them. It was unlike my normal stays.
Hotel was clean. Breakfast was great! Location not so much.
