Ok but service could have been better.
Pros:

Location good. Reception staff very helpful.

Cons:

Bar staff very unhelpful. A long wait for orders to be taken and then for the drinks to arrive. This was a daily occurrence and not a one off.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. I booked a room with a balcony and specifically mentioned in advance which balcony I was hoping for, understanding that nothing is ever 100% guaranteed. But that turned out to be the least of the issues.

I also let the hotel know in advance that I would be celebrating my anniversary during my stay. The day before my arrival, I received a reply (they completely ignored my request about the balcony) informing me that their "congratulatory package" is paid — starting from €180, which included flowers, macaroons and a bottle of champagne. I have stayed in many hotels, both expensive and budget-friendly, but this was a first for me. Still, I decided to let it go.

At check-in, I was greeted with not a single smile. At the reception, they assured me: "Yes, we gave you exactly the room you wanted." But when I entered the room, I realized it was not the one I had requested — in fact, it was the very one I had hoped to avoid. I called reception, and the response was: "Oh, isn't this the one? We can change it tomorrow." The next day, no one called or offered any solution. I thought to myself, maybe it's a sign, and I decided to stay in that room.

On my birthday, I chose not to order the paid congratulatory package because I found it excessive. I have stayed in many hotels — from very high-end to more affordable ones — and everywhere else, guests are acknowledged with at least a small gesture: a small cake, a dessert, or even just a handwritten note. What do you think? Did they acknowledge my birthday? Nothing at all. No candle, no dessert, not even a little card saying "Ekaterina, happy birthday."

As for the room itself — it was fine, but I will attach photos showing that the door chain was broken, and the door could not be secured from the inside. I asked for it to be fixed and was told "yes, of course," but no one ever showed up.
