Leaving
Very bad dealing i already cancel hotel before time but they never give back my money
Unacceptable behaviour not respecting timely
Close to merryhill and work
Clean and comfortable
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Bed very comfy
Bath very dated and attention needed to tiles etc.
No Mirror near to plugs to dry your hair
Staff were friendly.
Rooms were very dated and in need of some TLC. The shower was fitted with a curtain which i find unhygienic. Breakfast was ok but a hair was found on a fried egg.
The comfortable Bed.
The Elevator small Small and had some delays, so I had to use the stairs most of the time.
I stay here every 1-2 months, just a single night each time but after a couple of years doing this I know the place quite well. This time the room was fine, as usual, and the breakfast was OK.
We checked in at about 5 pm. Our room was at the end of the corridor and every other room between our room and lift had a collection of dirty crockery or empty glasses or bottles outside it, including our room. Presumably these had been sitting outside the rooms since the previous night. After I notified reception, they were cleared up within an hour but why hadn't they been cleared up earlier?
Good hotel, spacious rooms and comfortable.

I booked a Spa Day through Groupon for myself and my Sister. I would say this is a down to earth no frills spa experience. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We hired towels, robes and slippers (you keep the slippers) The spa access is through the gym. The changing room is quite small especially if you're next to someone when using your lockers. There is 1 curtained cubicle if you want privacy for getting changed. Showers are also available, hairdryers and 1 toilet. The pool was a lovely comfortable temperature and a pleasure to swim in. The jacuzzi was like getting into a hot bath and very relaxing. The button for the jacuzzi is separate so you will need to get out to switch it back on. The steam room is small and compact but nice to use. We didn't get to use the sauna as it was busy.
We used the facilities for a good 3 hours. We had booked a table in the Hotel's bar for lunch. Because the hotel is a separate building to the spa, we decided to get dressed as we didn't fancy walking outside in our robes although there were guests in the restaurant in their robes. We were able to sit in the restaurant for our lunch. The food was lovely and not overly priced, again the staff were lovely.
We had a 50 minute treatment each after lunch. I had a lovely lady by the name of Manjeet and my Sister had a lovely lady by the name of Lottie. Both ladies were extremely professional, very welcoming and the treatments were amazing. Probably the best I've had! They are an asset to the spa.
I would definitely return. The facilities aren't luxurious but in my opinion the treatments alone are worth what I paid so the use of the facilities are an added bonus.
The hotel was perfectly place for me to walk to 'parkrun' on Saturday morning. The size of the room was enormous with twin aspect views. It was lovely to have a bath too, to soak away the day's aches and pains.
Sadly, we did find the pillows uncomfortable & hard & the duvet quite thin and small...not the best night's sleep.
Whilst there was a twin phone charger & lamp on one side of the bed, there was no such facility on the other side.
It was also difficult to use the hair dryer in front of the mirror as the power sockets were awkwardly placed.
