Location very good, front of house staff good
Rooms very basic and need updating, came several years ago and still the same, bar area could be better
Breakfast very good, lots of options for everyone including vegetarians like me. Staff very friendly & always happy to answer any questions you may have. This is our 3rd visit to this hotel & it also has the added bonus of its own car parking facility (there is a charge for this but we'll worth it if you wish to drive to london)
This is our 3rd stay at this hotel so I don't think we would keep going back if we weren't happy with it!!
Location
Limited interaction with guests
On arrival the receptionist Jan took care of us and she also booked us out after 2 days A great receptionist.
Excellent room. Had everything we needed.
Food and drinks 🍸 were first class.
Concierge also Excellent. Answered our questions and also called our taxi.
All in all a great place to stay.
Nothing.
Comfortable, well-equipped rooms, great location. Great service.
Very thin walls, we could listen to every word of our neighbours' conversation.
Fridge was also set way too cold, we woke up to our food frozen.
Helpful staff, excellent location.
Slightly dated rooms, but not a big issue really at these prices
Fridge in dated cabinet
Traveled as a family but the portal wouldn’t show availability when booking for 3 people. Also wanted to extend my stay as booking online was not possible for the date. The receptionist Ms.AMA and Hotel manager Mr.Sifou Amathur assisted to have this resolved promptly.
Hotel was convenient being less than 5 mins walk from station with plenty of stores and restaurant.
Overall a pleasant check-in was had due to helpful staff.
Kris was very welcoming and polite when checking in, and continued to be helpful during my stay. Thank you Kris!
A couple of things were disappointing for a hotel that has such a wonderful reception entrance lobby.
There is no lift from the underground parking, but there are 3/4 flights of stairs with very heavy doors to contend with. Signage is poor & would prove difficult if you had even slight mobility issues & or heavy cases. We struggled up & asked on check out re a lift, but were told no. Help was offered, but would not have been available on arrival.
We had upgraded to a Club Room, as it was a special occasion. The room was large, but nothing special. Furniture was 'old' & a chest of drawers had the top drawer sticking out as it refused to stay shut. One of 3 lamps didn't work & the lighting could only be operated from one side of the bed - the side that didn't have access to a plug.
The biggest disappointment was the small outdated bathroom. The toilet seat is smaller than the pan. The shower is in the bath & only sprinkles you with water - a power shower it is not. Shower curtain, no smart screen here. The toiletries are not as impressive as I was led to believe, & are big bottles of an unknown brand.
The advertised robes were not present. Towels were good though.
I did query if this was indeed a Club Room, but was told all the bathrooms were the same as ours - 11th floor 1168.
Housekeeping seemed hit & miss as they must have been aware of the faulty drawer. No decaf tea bags, only 1 packet of biscuits over a 2 night stay & 4 long life full cream milk - no semi skimmed. I expected higher quality & more on offer in a club room - a coffee machine?
The club lounge breakfast was ok, again much better choice elsewhere.
Would I go back definitely not. I did ask, on arrival, about the possible complimentary upgrade to the room as advertised, but sadly 'no'.
I specifically upgraded to a Club Room for the 'extras' but do feel disappointed, as have experienced much nicer rooms elsewhere in London for much reduced costs.
Great location for access to London city , tube station around the corner. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly. Air conditioning and a fridge in the room , definite bonus with the warm weather. Would highly recommend.
Great stay for the London Marathon
The location is close to the tube.
Room 929 has a lose tile in the bathroom and some mold near the bathtub on the wall.
لا شئ فقط كان قريب من محطه المترو
تعامل الموظفين كان سيئ جداً التكييف كان غير جيد
The room was satisfactory for my stay.
