Excellent location!
Pros:

Excellent location. Very helpful staff. Small but comfortable room.

Cons:

Breakfast was fine, but not exceptional. Rooms don’t open for safety reasons, which I understand, but makes it hard to air the room.

Fantastic location, not great value for money
Pros:

Fantastic location close to museums and Royal Albert Hall. Well maintained building, interiors, and clean room. Overall helpful staff, especially helping with luggage and taxi.

Cons:

Check in staff did not make us feel welcome. Querying our ID, repeating we needed to pay the balance as soon as possible as the card already on booking.com was not a valid method (I was not going anywhere or saying I would not pay, just asking), and reminding 3 times that breakfast was not included (overpriced in our opinion). We felt we needed to prove our right to stay rather than being welcome. Check out was much better and staff was helpful and friendly.
I know the location is fantastic, but to me still not great value for money.

Uncomfortable Experience at Reception
Cons:

My daughter and I asked for information about the hop-on hop-off bus, and a member of the hotel reception staff offered to assist us. While I appreciated the offer, his assistance was accompanied by several inappropriate comments that made us feel uncomfortable.
For example, he questioned whether my nationality was really the one I stated, apparently because my accent did not match what he expected. He then made a joke suggesting that I was unable to understand what he was trying to explain, suggesting that my daughter, who is younger than me, could understand perfectly. He seemed to find this amusing, but I did not.
Another example was when he corrected my English pronunciation without being asked to do so. Our native language is Spanish, and he immediately corrected the way I pronounced a word in English. Being corrected in this manner, especially when no correction was requested, felt unnecessary.
I believe it would be much more pleasant to stay at a hotel where guests are not questioned about their nationality or their ability to understand simple explanations. If humor is used, it should not come at the expense of respect or be based on assumptions about a guest’s language skills or intelligence.
I expect hotel staff to treat guests with courtesy and respect, regardless of their nationality, accent, or level of English proficiency. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression and made us feel uncomfortable during our stay.

Pros:

Очень удобное местоположение. Приятная обстановка, вежливый персонал.

Cons:

Сложности с кондиционированием, толком не настроишь, дуло прямо на кровать. Если выключить- очень душно.
Заселили на 2 часа раньше в уже готовый номер за 40 фунтов. После долгой дороги было уже все равно.

Fantastique service et un hotel plein de charme!
Pros:

Mon père a eu de graves problèmes de santé pendant son séjour et le personnel de l'hotel a été absolument fantastique. Ils ont facilite la venue d'une ambulance, sécurisé une chambre pour ma mere pendant 5 jours a des prix tres compétitifs. Le responsable de la reception Rajesh m'a appelé a plusieurs reprises pour prendre des nouvelles de mon père. Bravo a toute l'équipe!
