Charged $30 to check in one hour early which was ridiculous. Breakfast is so-so..the usual high calorie stuff that is fast food. It was ok for no extra charge.

First, I will say that Geoff at the front desk was so very pleasant to interact with during my three night. Stay there in February 2026. He was super friendly and patient with the customers during a time when it got busy as I was checking into the hotel. He was helpful throughout my stay, easy to talk to, and always greeted us when leaving and returning to the hotel.

The hotel was basic overall, a very typical hotel to stay in. I will say that it was generally clean, but as soon as I walked in, I noticed the dust on top of the picture frames, and there was dust on top of the headboards. I have to say it takes probably about 60 seconds to run a swiffer rag or microfiber rag over these surfaces to clean up the dust. However, I did notice that the other flat surfaces in the room like the TV stand table dresser, were pretty clean. The bathtub definitely needs renovations. Jeff did mention to me that the shower knobs are going to be replaced sometime soon, but I know the guests would really appreciate a more presentable bathtub. The stains from dirt and rust and in the grout, were offputting and made it appear that it was not clean, so I wore shower, shoes, flip-flops, when I showered. The bath towels were very rough, again it’s definitely down to preference, but it would be much more pleasant if the towels were a little softer to rub against your skin with. The remote control to the TV was a little dirty, would be great if they could clean it and then maybe put it in a plastic bag of some sort, I have seen that before and other hotels so it makes it easier to clean. I understand it’s probably very difficult to keep the mattresses clean and sanitary in a hotel, but the plastic mattress covers under the fitted sheet were noisy and caused the bed to be a little harder than the mattress probably is. Not sure what other hotels do to keep their mattresses sanitary, but having these crinkly wrinkly plastic covers on the mattress under your body as you sleep was not really comfortable. Lastly, it would be nice if a blanket came on the bed along with the sheet. Yes, there was a blanket in the closet, but typically there is a flat sheet, thin, blanket, and a dust cover of some sort on the beds and hotels. But here it was just the sheet and dust cover, and we had to grab the blanket from the closet to keep warm. If none of these things bother you, then I would recommend staying here as long as you book ahead to get the best price.

Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Daily maid service was provided which is rare these days. Breakfast was great with eggs and sausage along with fruit, cereal, and waffles. Very nice hotel.

The property was clean, safe and accessible. Close proximity to area attractions and easy to get around.

Nice place, friendly and efficient staff and overall reasonably priced. Pet friendly a big + and the complementary breakfast is decent.If you’re looking for a decent, reasonably priced, place to stay for a few days, I would recommend this place. it’s also right off the interstate, which makes it a convenient location to just about everything in the Saint Pete and Clearwater area, and again, since it’s right off the interstate, Tampa is a quick trip as well.
