Excellent would definitely go again to stay at the Marina Hotel waterford
Pros:

Breakfast was just perfect. Got any thing you wanted . Location was excellent could access every thing from there. Including the busees and all local pubs restaurants bars and hotels and all tourists attraction s loved it and waterford is the perfect place to stay .it is the oldest city in Ireland. And you have got all the beaches and bays not far away 20 mine to Tramore. The hotel also is next to the river so we could have a chilled evening sat looking at the wildlife and the view of the port

Great location and views of River. Internet issues.
Pros:

3 days stay. Lovely place with spacious rooms and great views. Loved the action below from the Nextdoor boathouse and crew teams. I need WiFi access for work and like to use Youtube for my white noise to sleep and felt both deprived and betrayed.

I was assigned room 314 where the WiFi signal was basically impossible to access for more than 30 seconds before fading away. When I notified the AM front desk clerk, the old boomer’s response was: “when I get a hotel room I do it just for the bed.” In other words, why should he care? He asked me my room number and clearly did nothing more. Stayed 2 more days with no wi fi access in room even after a second complaint day 2 to a more empathetic desk clerk.

Pros:

Top class hotel, with very proffessional and welcoming staff. Food was very nice and room felt brand new. Overall a great experience, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The self service breakfast.
Whilst some self service is understandable, having to get teas, coffees, toast, etc, means multiple trips from table to food areas, at which point some hot food has gone colder.

A good hotel which could become excellent with modest upgrades to room facilities.

Excellent location and friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

I was disappointed at the lack of some facilities. The weather was excellent during our stay but the room lacked a fridge for cold drinks and air conditioning would have been appreciated.
