Tranquil getaway.
Pros:

We couldn't fault this Hotel.
Everything about it was luxurious.
The large garden was beautiful with stunning views of Lake Windermere.
All of the Staff were welcoming, polite and went out their way to make our stay memorable.

提前抵达说下午3点才能入住我觉得没问题这是酒店规则我们要遵守，结果下午3点说房间还没好。一直到3点半才给我们进房间这就很奇怪了，你们定了规则我们遵守你们却违反，难道退房也可以让我们晚退房吗，最后还要给一张纸说晚退房需要50磅，这真的是双重标

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it
Pros:

Overall, it was very close to a perfect stay. The location is very convenient, even for those who don’t drive. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant throughout our stay, and everything was delicious! We were really impressed. The area around the hotel is also lovely for walks, and they even provide Wellington boots for guests to borrow, which was a really thoughtful and useful touch.

Disappointing. Expected better
Pros:

Bathroom was newly renovated and clean

Cons:

Room too hot so couldn't sleep and got a bad night’s sleep and air con unable to be used, wifi was bad. Fire alarm went off at 0700 and woke us up.

Lovely hotel in a great spot, with fantastic food.
Pros:

Excellent location above the town of Bowness, with superb views over Windermere. Very friendly helpful staff and a very comfortable hotel. Short taxi ride (c. £5) into town. We enjoyed a superb two night weekend stay. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Very little not to like. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

Great hotel in a fabulous location. The staff & restaurant are what set the hotel apart.
Pros:

Staff were exceptional with level of service and warmth. The Henrock was fabulous with their tasting menu and of the 10 dishes only the desserts we thought could have been better as the combination of flavours didn't quite work. The rest was exceptional and an amazing culinary experience.

A lovely relaxing stay
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and helpful.The food was amazing!
We really enjoyed relaxing and walking in the beautiful grounds with stunning views.
I have booked my daughter and her fiance in for a couple of nights after their wedding next year
