Pros:

The bedrooms were comfortable and the room was quiet.

The shower - I literally had to chase the water in the shower. Very disappointing.

It’s getting old. Bed, bath(spa), TV (damaged screen) all need replacing. Furniture is very dated.

Not as good as my last stay but acceptable.
Pros:

Great location and friendly staff. Bar, dining room and café conveniently located on the ground floor. Many restaurants within a short stroll. I have booked this hotel before which is why I chose it again.

Cons:

The taps were leaking in the bathroom. The floor of the shower was cracked and discoloured water came up from it. The bar fridge was exceptionally small. The other rooms may have been better.

It was good value and met every need we had.
Pros:

Very comfortable room and bed with upgrade so that would have meant more space which was great. Good rate and reasonably close to Exhibition Park for Royal Canberra Show where I assisted a breed society. Restaurants were also much appreciated. Food quality was good and the menu covered a wide range of options. I loved the Caesar Salad!

Cons:

TV in room 239 has a problem with colour patches from the top that are not related to the programs being watched. We didn't ask for it to be fixed because we were out a lot of the time and it's easier for hotel management to address when no-one is accommodated in the room for a non-urgent issue.
Toilet seat is very soft plastic which squeaks if you move which is a minor matter but we'd never struck that before.
