Great foods, great service. I even have a surprise birthday cake for my birthday and a printed photo for memory.

Great food at Food Capital restaurant, great chef and friendly staffs helped us to take and print out birthday photo.

The sakura buffet was great. Quick service from a really observant and friendly waitress Kwatizah, who chilled out her phone while we were doing our own birthday thing and snapped nice shots to print for us.

My family and I celebrated my wife's birthday with an amazing lunch. There's tons of varieties, very fresh food and everything fits perfectly into the Sakura Japanese theme.

On top of that, Khatijah and her team gave us a very nice birthday surprise with a cake and a photo, giving us lots of great memories.

Thank you, for the wondering afternoon, we will definitely come back again!

Nice sized, extremely comfortable room. The location is great for MRT station so it is very easy to get to all the major sights. Very good breakfast too.

2026. The staff, cleanliness, and location are fantastic. A short, easy, and very pleasant walk—to the MRT-Great world City, with quick access to Orchard Road and ION with only one stop. Keep an eye out along the way for otters, turtles, and even iguanas that live in the area—they’re protected and often spotted near the river feeding and playing.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for around 10 years whenever I return to Singapore, and it’s always been a great experience. The location is excellent—right by the river, with plenty nearby, and very close to Great World City and the MRT, which can take you almost anywhere. From the hotel you can easily walk the beautiful riverside, up to Clarke Quay (15-20 min), then onto Boat Quay (an extra approx 10-15 minutes), then carry on to the bay, marina Bay Sands an extra approx 25-35 minutes. Plenty to see and enjoy.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that choosing the right room makes a big difference, as there are a few options. If you can, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a larger room on a higher floor with a river view—it’s definitely worth it and makes the stay even more enjoyable. Rooms on the lower floors near the tennis courts can be a bit noisy, as training often starts around 7am and the sound isn’t well filtered in those rooms.
Also, there are currently building works across from the hotel, expected to continue until early 2027. Opting for a riverside view room can help minimise some of the construction noise.

Overall, I’ve consistently had great stays here and as always, would happily return again. Singapore and Singaporeans have always been awesome.

I can say, after staying at numerous hotels during our trip to Asia (including Taipei and Hong Kong), this was our favorite stay. We stayed in an executive suite which was spacious and modern and perfect for our family of 3. We also had access to the lounge on the 29th floor which always had a snack on hand when we needed. Most of all, the staff made our stay truly memorable. From the beginning of the stay when you exit your ride and enter the hotel, the first people you meet are probably the most important-- Arventh, Deneal and Vincent. These 3 gentlemen were always available to assist us--making sure we had transportation, taking care of our luggage and there with a smile. I would also like to give a special acknowledgement to Cleon who helped us immensely at check-in, Muzaffar who assisted us with our stay requests and Sheila at the 29th floor lounge who always remembered us and was so kind to my daughter.

I would come back to the Grand Copthorne Waterfront just for the high level of service and kindness.

I'm a returning customer who love this hotel lunch buffet best. Would like to commend Khatjah who took the initiative to take picture for our 30th anniversary. She always served us with a great smile. A happy customer.

Food are served fresh and hot in great variety. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, ready to clear your table to make it conducive and clean. They also provide cake 🍰 and photo taking for memory. Best is free parking too for those who dine in. Sometimes they have 1 for 1 so keep a lookout and have your food capitalised here.

Had a fantastic experience with the banquet team. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and executed with great attention to detail.
