Worth the stay for a road trip stop especially when traveling with a dog

I would not go back because of the guy at the front desk
Cons:

The guy at the front desk, Rupaul was rude. He was rude when we were checking in. Does not know how to talk to people. He was rude when we asked for an extra pillow. He claimed that there wasn’t any extra pillows. Then when I ordered DoorDash, he was rude to me and the DoorDash driver. He called my room and said I had to come downstairs to get my food in a rude manner.

Check the bedding, no matter how late it is
Pros:

Location was good and easy enough to get to from the interstate.

Cons:

We just needed a room to get some sleep on the way up to NC. I've always said I don't need fancy, just clean. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Most of the room was clean but nothing could make up for the absolutely disgusting stain on the bed sheet that I didn't see until the next day. I should've checked but it was 1 am and I was exhausted from driving and only getting 2 hours of sleep the night before. Since we arrived late, they already ran my credit card which I figured they would but they wouldn't let us use a different card at check in. Most hotels only get an authorization and changing the card before check out isn't a problem but that's not the case here. When the owner was informed of the dirty sheets he didn't apologize or seem to care at all, just said okay. I wasn't looking for compensation but a little concern would've gone a long way. The hallways smelled like heavy perfume sprays covering smoke. I would never stay here again.
