It was cheap, so I didn’t make a fuss, but the place was dirty.

It was dirty. I had to change rooms, and my new room was dirty.

Wish we had stayed at Red Roof
Pros:

We had a bad experience at a previous motel in Saginaw MI, but once we got checked, (an hour early), at the Red Roof Inn the situation improved rapidly. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful.
The room was comfortable, warm, and quiet.
We would have paid less money at Red Roof to stay 7 days, than what we paid for 4 days at an independently owned motel. $380.00 for 7 days verses $340.00 for 4 days.

Health Department of Saginaw needs to do its job and shut this place down.
Pros:

There was no breakfast. Stale, watered down, limp, and lifeless coffee with powdered creamer and sad stained sugar packets.

Cons:

This is the filthiest motel I have ever stayed in. In addition to the bugs crawling on me in the night, I think I got an infection in my toe from the shower. It's now painful, red, and inflamed and I may have to go see the doctor if soaking it in salt tonight doesn't help. The ONLY reason I did not leave immediately was because I was in town from Virginia to see Bob Dylan and I didn't have time to find a different hotel or I would have been late to the concert. I considered sleeping in the car but as a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel safe in their parking lot either and it was freezing. Never again.

What a dump!!
Pros:

This place is a dump!! Don't be fooled by the pictures they show. There's stains on the bedding, holes in the walls, filthy refrigerator, run down bathroom. I wouldn't want to use the shower. There was no soap anyway. I'll never stay here again.
