Found dirty clothes in the top dresser drawer. Had to ask front office for remote for TV. King bed room and only had accommodations for 1 person when stated would be 2 in the room. Bathroom towel not much bigger than a hand towel. Brown stains on sheets.. Walked across floor barefoot and bottom of feet turned black from dirty floor/carpet. Back of bathrrom door covered with long dark hair not from us. Paid for two nights of stay but would not return for second night because of the dirtieness. So lost money and do not recommend for future guest until they can make improvements.
It smelled of stale smoke, black light showed massive amounts of urine on the bathroom wall around the toilet. Etc

Check in was okay. When I got to the room, there was no ice bucket, no coffee maker, and I had to get down on my hands and knees to plug in all the lamps and TV. ROACHES AND SPIDERS IN THE BATHROOM AND SOME KIND OF WEIRD SNAKY LOOKING THING IN THE TOILET, THAT WOULD NEVER FLUSH DOWN.GROSS. THE SECOND NIGHT, SOMEBODY POUNDED ON MY DOOR AT ABOUT THREE A.M. And then pounded on the door next to mine, and I heard somebody say "housekeeping." Weird. Then the next night, somebody tried to get into my room at 2:30 a.m. The next morning, when I got ready to leave, there was a strange guy standing in the doorway by the next room, screaming and yelling and apparently having withdrawal from drugs. Then he got down on his knees, and started slamming his fists on the concrete. Terrible experience. Worst stay I've ever had at a hotel.. I think my money should be refunded. You should take this hotel off your list. It's very sleazy and creepy.

I awoke the next morning to get ready to leave, and there was a man standing next to my door yelling and screaming. Then he got down on his hands and knees and pounded the concrete with his fists while screaming. I'm pretty sure he was having withdrawal from drug symptoms. Absolutely the worst stay I have ever had at hotel and I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn ever again. I really feel like I should be refunded my money.

From the dimly lit pics of the outside making it look better than it really does all the way to the lobby picture that looks nothing like the real lobby which is actually an office, and half of that was used up with what looked like a bunch of junk on tables and carts. Checking in, the staff was 100% unprofessional. We ended up paying an extra $30 to check in early for a room that looks like it gets rented out for solicitation. The ceiling looked patched up from water damage, the hardwood looked old and disgusting, the bathroom looked unkept, the toilet barely worked, the TV remote didn't work at all. The room was supposed to be wheelchair accessible but it really wasn't. There is barely room to walk, let alone use a chair. Because of the time I had avl to me I wasn't able to find a better hotel to stay for the night so slept very uncomfortably on the deluxe twin they're passing off as a queen bed. I have paid less than $175 a night for rooms that looked much better and weren't brand name hotels so this experience was so disappointing.

Quick stay
The room was tidy and did not smell of any previous pet in the room. Fair price for an overnight stay with a pet.
Rooms are not kept maintained. IE in need of repairs.
They wanted to charge me for the lack of maintenance and I complained.
Dresser has damage from wheelchairs hitting it = on front left and drawer is banged into dresser. Tower shower is extremely loose and needs to be tightened to the shower wall. I am not in a wheel chair and did not damage the room at all. They threatened to charge me for existing damage that they have not taken care to repair. It looked like it had been is this condition for a while.
Am disputing this through expedia and if necessary with BBB of St Louis.
The place is decent. Rooms are clean good bang for the buck.
Check in was very quick and staff super polite even when it was late check in. However, I was only refunded 1/3 of the value of my stay for my encounter of bed bugs that I discovered the next morning. I have to take thr time to sanitize all my belongings, and 1/3 is not properly compensating this situation. I booked one of the more expensive superior rooms. The floors didn’t look like they’ve mopped them in years. I have stayed at this hotel before about 3-4 times and this was the worst experience among them. Please treat for bed bugs and clean and do better because I know you can and have before!
