It was clean
There was no snack box in my room, and my reservation stated that I would have a premium room, supposedly with upgraded sheets and pillows and a snack box.
Also, the receptionist opened my room while I was in the bathroom completely naked, with my door open, at 7:30 in the morning, and she called my room at 8:00 a.m., which prevented me from resting and sleeping.
The location
Some of the staff is rude and the water in the room don't get that hot
It didn't have breakfast nor a laundry for the price. I would recommend this to no one!!!
Breakfast for the price it was ridiculous!!!
Yellowjacket Wasps in every room, prostitutes soliciting us in the hotel. Not a safe place, we couldn’t stay here.
We also heard from another hotel after we left people have been robbed here.

I didn’t get a chance to stay at this property because of the illegal activities going on in the parking lot. I was addressed by a police officer who told me that the area was not safe for me and my children to stay in before I can even get out the car.
I didn’t like that I had a high chance of my vehicle being broken into in this area. I hope that this area can get cleaned up because the hotel does deserve a full review, but the customer deserves to feel comfortable when they pull up to the property.
Affordable
A room got raided by the police next to mine. Then a guy got shot less than a 1/4 mile from the hotel.
Location was perfect for our needs. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming. Our room was quiet and clean.
The door hinge needed to be adjusted. It scraped the frame near the top, because the door wasn't quite level.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. A woman named Shawn helped us very much! The location is perfect for downtown. We stayed in a suite which was perfect for us 3 friends traveling together which gave us each a bed and no one had to sleep together. TV sizeable in each room as well with comfortable couchbed for sleeping, sitting together during the evening.
The elevator broke twice during our 3 night stay and we had to walk 3 flights of stairs including packing all our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. We had 2 broken tv remote controls, 2 of our 3 room keycards didn't work. Our door had the plywood backing coming off it to the bathroom door and got stuck and we had to call maintenance. There were only 2 towels in the room which was a suite. There were no linens for the pull out couch sofa. When I asked about them I was told she had worked there 3 years and didn't know the couch made a bed. The refrigerator in the room leaked water all over the floor and we had to call maintenance for that. The room was clean but the stairwells were very dirty and looked like someone inside dropped some trash. Their was a piece of old fried chicken in the stairwell for 2 days. I called this to the desk's attention but was told housekeeping came in at 9am and would take care of it but they never did. On our last day when we checked out my friend who had recently had heart surgery called and asked for help with her bags since we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was down. They sent Sean who came right away and was very helpful. The hotel is a great location but needs much work.
