Hotel is located in front of a castle, not far from a lot of local restaurants and just a few stops away from Kyoto station. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week stay in Japan accross Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka! 100% recommend

早割でかなりお得に予約ができたと思いますが、お値段に対して非常に満足度が高かったです。お部屋はシンプルモダンなイメージで、とても落ち着けました。一番小さいタイプのお部屋だと思いますが、窓が2方にありとても明るかったです。洗い場があるお風呂だと思っていたのでその点は残念でしたが、バスルームのデザインは素敵で気に入りました。もう少しデスクの奥行きがあるとパソコンを使いやすかったのですが、作業がある時は1階ロビーに移って広々したところですることができたのがよかったです。立地としても二条城前でバス停にも地下鉄駅にも徒歩1ー2分、ホテルを出ると広々した道路が広がっているのがとても気持ちよく、散歩も楽しめました。
できれば、朝食を希望する場合は何時までに連絡など、どこかに提示があるとよかったかなと思いますが、それ以外は大変満足して過ごせました。今度は、二条城ビューのお部屋に泊まってみたいと思います。
Small boutique hotel within a 15/20 min stroll from lots of restaurants, main shops. It's location opposite the castle is a great location. Pyjamas and amenities are provided although tea/coffee (only two of each) and space to hang clothes was limited. The lighting is on the dim side and made it difficult to read at night. Our room on the 2nd floor had trees outside of it which also reduced some of the natural light. We found the Bluetooth speaker and the phone to have a heavy layer of dust on them. That said however, we did find the room to be generally quite comfortable. The lounge bar was comfortable and the hotel provided a welcome drink for guests which was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay.

What a pleasant stay at the hotel! The staff, the rooms and location were fantastic! It’s a small hotel, but we found the rooms to be very comfortable with everything you could ask for. The hotel, rooms and area around the hotel were spotless. It had a lovely lounge, so you didn’t need to go far for a drink to relax and unwind after a busy day out sightseeing.
All the staff was so accommodating and answered our questions, arranged taxis and had recommended places to eat.
We had the pleasure of chatting with Ben, while we were there. We had good conversations and he was wonderful young man! We wish him nothing but the best! He is a definite asset to the hotel!
We would highly recommend staying here if you are given the chance. We definitely don’t regret our choice on any level.
