Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter

My dad and I stayed at this amazing hotel last month while visiting the Cincinnati area. Overall, from start to end our stay couldn’t have been more amazing!

When we checked in, Courtney at the front desk was extremely friendly and assigned us two connecting king rooms on the 15th floor facing downtown Cincy!
(Rooms 1514 and 1515)

The rooms overall were amazing and the beds were so comfortable. I had the best nights sleep each of the 3 nights we were there.

The entire property is so well maintained. They keep everything in incredible shape. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

The whole staff in general were absolutely phenomenal and took exceptionally good care of us.

I need to give a massive shoutout to Yaisha Wright, the front desk supervisor. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing she was! She treated us like family.

Tony, Sidney, Aisha, and Jenna were all incredible as well. Honestly, the entire staff took such amazing care of us!

This is our official go-to hotel in the Cincinnati area! I cannot wait to stay here again in the future!

The m club is a very nice and clean environment I love the worker I met Doris the pat year and she go over and beyond and I love the rooms they are very clean and nice all the employees I came across are very friendly and kind

The View was Spectacular at all hours!! The room was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable.. I loved the lighting in the bathroom. I think the lighting throughout the room was really done well.

My family stayed at this hotel for 10 nights over the holidays and for a wedding. It was a perfect experience from clean rooms and fresh berry breakfasts to the hospitality of the staff. I rarely mention people by names, but I have to give special thanks to Yaisha Wright at the front desk who was instrumental in taking care of each party staying at the Marriott RiverCenter. She got to know us by name, spoke in Spanish with the Spanish-speaking only visitors, and did everything she could to make our stay special and memorable. She gave the kind of care that is matched by Ritz Carlton hotels. The view of the Ohio River and the ability to see the Bengals game festivities from our room were really special too. We did have to ask to have our room serviced daily, and once we did that, we had great daily service. My husband travels with Marriott regularly, and he felt this was one of the best he has seen. Also, there is easy parking across the side street next to the Marriott.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on business in mid December 2025. Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status (Honors diamond) so I frequently stay in hotels. Chose this hotel b/c of it’s Marriott family and the relatively close proximity to CVG airport and downtown Cincy.

Positives:

-Courtney at the front desk (I think that was her name) was incredibly friendly. I checked in late due to a flight delay, and she greeted me with a just the right amount of enthusiasm and authenticity. She also provided me with a good amount of information regarding the hotel and neighboring area. Just a nice, warm reception after a long day.

-Was ‘upgraded’ to a 1 King river view room. Great view of downtown Cincy and the river. View was 5 stars.

-Room was perfectly fine. Pretty standard in terms of size and decor. Felt like it had been recently renovated (past 3-5 years maybe).

-M Club lounge was a highlight. Fewer and fewer Marriotts have a club lounge. It’s unfortunate b/c it add so much value to the hotel. The lounge in this hotel was not huge, but it had all you need for breakfast, afternoon snack or a small bite in the evening. It was also good for doing work (instead of being in your hotel room). The woman who hosted the lounge in the morning (I didn’t get her name) was very attentive and friendly. Stopping to chat with hotel guests and making sure everything was clean. Overall, a good experience in the lounge.

-WiFi in the room worked well and had good speed/connectivity.

-Area around the hotel was great for a morning run. Easy to cross the Roebling Bridge and run along the river on the OH side. Nice 5+ mile loop, well marked and safe. Fitness center in the hotel had all the necessary equipment, towels and was a decent size. hotel also had a heated indoor pool (didn’t use it but the water felt warm).

Easy/short walk into downtown Covington. Plenty of bars and restaurants less than a 15 min walk from the hotel.

Negatives:

-only 1 drawer in the room, and it was a deep one on the closet floor. Why no drawers? Some people like to unpack (living literally out of a suitcase is annoying).

-Glass shower is nice, but it was SO narrow. I’m a normal sized guy (5’10” 170 lbs) and had difficulty in the shower. Also, the shower head was odd and had a strange water flow. I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it.

-Time for hotels to upgrade to USB-C charging ports. More and more tech is using this connection.

Overall nice stay at this hotel. When I travel to Cincy area again, I will def stay here.

The time that I was checking for a hotel to stay for the whole time for work for almost 2 months, I was hesitant and in doubt if I will try Marriott at the RiverCenter. But when I finally got there on my first week and was able to connect with their team, I was beyond happy with how they treat their guests. From their managers to everyone you see in the hotel. Doris was great at the M lounge. She is one of the best!!!! I recommend this hotel with a great view of the City!!!! Great job guys and keep up the good work!!!! Great customer service!!!!
