Bed was comfortable and the location has a ton of character. Most of the employees were super nice.
I had booked a king balcony room on June 2; date of stay was 8/22, for an event to celebrate my husbands birthday. We arrive to the hotel and the parking garage is down and couldn’t produce tickets, the front desks WiFi is down, wait for that to come back up for them to inform me that they didn’t have any balcony rooms left. They tried to resolve the issue bu putting us in a room and then moving rooms once we get back from the event and that was a HUGE inconvenience so I was mad and said no. They told me there was nothing they could do on the price discrepancy because it was booked through third party. The whole ordeal was a big inconvenience and really put a damper on our original plan.
The beds were so comfortable. The inside (lobby area and restaurant area) was gorgeous . We arrived late, and was starving. We were able to eat at the restaurant. It was really good as well. The view from our room was gorgeous. The staff was so kind as well.
We had to walk across the street to park, we were charged $20 to park in the parking garage, and we still had to walk a good distance to our hotel. Then, in our room, our tub looked dirty, but it was stained. The room obviously had flooding. The wallpaper was bubbled and had several water stains. The TV stand had the cheap particleboard that was bubbling as well. The tracks from the curtains were missing screws and not sturdy. I just felt that the price I paid for the room, these things would've been fixed.
Hotel overall is excellent. Jordan, our valet is a standout!! Thank you.
As a flight attendant, I stay at A LOT of hotels. I've done it for 20 years so I know what I'm talking about.
Every staff member you come into contact with at this hotel is lovely, truly truly lovely. Doris in the M club is an absolute gem, Dot on the breakfast is so kind, the reception staff on check in are angels. I honestly cannot praise them enough. The rooms are modern by Marriott standard, never had an issue with cleanliness. Eating here is standard American fare, but done well. Whilst I wouldn't choose this sort of hotel for my personal stays, I wish I could take its staff wherever I do. Please look after them, they're the best.
Please stay here. The customer service is amazinggg. I want to thank Doris and Sidney. Doris runs the M Club. She had an omelet day which I missed because I had to be at work early. She cooks fresh omelets and is friendly with all guests. She helped me get oat milk for my coffee in the mornings because I can't have dairy. Sidney handled a delicate situation with humor, which I loved! Also want to mention Jackson the desk associate or manager? He was very polite and had good customer service. Honestly I didn't meet a bad person here.
The hotel room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I never sleep this well in a hotel room...needless to say just book it!!
The property is located perfectly between everything.
Some of the staff in the hotel bar area.
The staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
The Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter is a modern, luxurious property in Covington, Kentucky featuring stunning views of the Cincinnati skyline. General Manager Mike Hogan has assembled an attentive, caring team who takes personal responsibility for exceeding guest expectations. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, especially AGM Jackson Weber, who went WAY above and beyond the call of duty to upgrade my room and accommodate a few special requests. Occasionally, we meet people who are extraordinarily good at relating to people...Jackson is that guy! After a two minute phone call a week before our arrival, he completely understood my needs and treated me like an old friend. Travel can be exhausting so it's refreshing to be embraced so warmly by a team who truly cares about making you comfortable. We live in a business world rife with hollow rhetoric about excellent customer service...how refreshing to experience the real thing. I feel like the Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter is my home away from home. Mike, Jackson and this wonderful team represent the essence of what makes Marriott the best in the hospitality business. Thanks again for everything...we can't wait to return!
