Cons:

They charged me a $50.00 damage deposit when I booked through Booking.com. I have asked for my refund and they said I couldn't have paid it online. So basically I didn't pay it according to the hotel.

For the most part it was ok. Would have liked to still have the indoor pool and hot tub.

I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred during my recent stay at your hotel, which I found both inappropriate and concerning.

While my girlfriend and I were in our room packing our belongings and preparing to check out, a staff member knocked only once and immediately opened the door without allowing any time for us to respond. We were clearly still occupying the room, and the staff member entered entirely on his own initiative.

This behavior was intrusive and unprofessional. Guests deserve a reasonable amount of time to answer the door, especially when privacy is involved. Entering a room without clear consent, particularly when the room is still occupied, is unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable.

I expect that hotel staff are trained to respect guest privacy, and I hope this matter is taken seriously to prevent similar incidents in the future. I would appreciate knowing what steps will be taken to address this situation.

Our room was adequate for a night's stay. If we were in the area longer, we would have changed hotel

Location was good and the check-in staff was nice.

Cons:

The pool was not listed as being unavailable when we booked, so we expected to take a swim after our 8 hour drive. The check-out staff was abrupt.

Pros:

there was no breakfast

Cons:

the room was soo dirty, from the walls to the toilet covered in dirt and hair. Walked in and the bed sheets weren't even on the bed correctly do to them not being the correct sheets for the bed.

This hotel provided a room to stay the night but it was not the experience I expected.
Pros:

Breakfast consisted of a cold bottle of Apple juice, hot coffee, hot water and packages of instant oatmeal. I suppose this works for some people. The chair in the room was old and stained. Clean towels, shampoo, soap and lotion were as expected. The bed was acceptable.

Cons:

The toilet seat was split in two where you sit down. This caused a bit of stress when using it. I'm not sure why this was not addressed (ie: a new toilet seat) before the room was rented out. I did bring this to the attention of the desk clerk, maintenance did come by to look at it but I checked out before anything was fixed.
