I like staying at this hotel because it is a great place to stay, it's not like every other hotel that only takes credit cards.
The hotel takes debit and cash which other should do the same.
It is my number one hotel to stay at when I travel to the city and the rates are always within my budget that I can afford.
Maybe that the lights all work and handles in dressers are not going to fall off.
Very comfortable room with reliable heating and cooling at a touch of a button. The room is very clean and comes with coffee and tea making facilities. The hotel furniture itself is very good and in good condition, I appreciated the stylish blackout curtains .
One of the best things is the proximity to sightseeing areas and the choice of reliable buses and shopping area just a few steps away,
The breakfast room provides a good continental breakfast as well.
All in all I highly recommend!
The staff were very friendly and helped accommodate me. I was arriving early and wanted to leave my bags with me and they managed to get my room ready early instead. They were very kind and helpful!
The location was also perfect as a base for North Vancouver and the Granville area. Transit was very convenient!

Location is bit distant from the main city
North Vancouver Hotel is worth every cent for the budget price you pay for. It is located just 5 mins drive from the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Stanley Park. Front desk check-in was a breeze and the staff were friendly helpful with suggestions. The average-sized room came with the essentials – 2 Queen beds, bathroom had the amenities one expects (Dove shampoo, bar soap, and skin lotion). There was a laundry room with 2 large washing machines and 2 dryers. Complementary breakfast included a wide range of food – pastries, breads, jams & butter, 2 cereals, instant oats, yogurt, pancakes, fruits (bananas, apples, mandarin oranges, etc) with ham. Maybe they could offer had boiled egg? Maid service was efficient. Perhaps my only gripe is the sound-proofing could be better – we could hear children crying from across the thin walls.
