Poor water pressure and a very weak breakfast offering
Pros:

We were booked into this hotel by Lynblad for one night. W bike check-in was flawless and very welcoming, and the room spacious and clean, water pressure in the shower was poor. The breakfast offering was particularly weak when compared to other hotels in Ecuador and Peru. The gluten-free offerings were minimal and the gluten-free bread simply fell apart. Very little of the food looked appetising, and there were only two staff doing their best but run off their feet. We were glad that we were only there one night.

Great business event at Swissotel
Pros:

I stayed at the Swissotel for a business event. Everything went very well, the staff was extremely kind, the food was good, and the overall experience was great. I would recommend it for business gatherings.

Swissotel is a wonderful place to stay in Quito
Pros:

We spent 3 nights here our way to the Galapagos. It was a wonderful experience, absolutely no complaints. All the staff were helpful, pleasant and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious.
I would definitely recommend Swissotel in Quito

Excellent all around
Pros:

We enjoyed an excellent three-day stay. The hotel is clean, modern, spacious, and well located, with restaurants and a large grocery store within easy walking distance. The staff were pleasant and professional. We had breakfast each morning at the buffet, and it was excellent — no complaints at all. We ate at the Japanese restaurant one evening, and it was also very good, although a bit pricy.

One issue arose during our stay, due to communications about a complexity in our reservation. The hotel could have insisted on a significant charge, but after some discussion ensured that we were not charged. I was very happy with the customer-first attitude of the front desk manager.

Overall, a great hotel. I recommend it.
