Fantastic hotel in Quito
Pros:

Very impressive check in service even on Good Friday. We were welcomed by Ricardo with fresh strawberry juice and hand towels.
Muchas gracias to Anahi for her assistance with early checkin. We were very impressed with Swissotel and would definitely recommend this hotel.

High Altitude Gem!
Pros:

Solid 4.5 star hotel serving a myriad of lodging needs. Central spot for local business plus a natural jumping off point for Americans headed to Galapagos. We were part of a Lindblad expedition, so all arrangements were pre-made for us.

We liked the cleanliness and friendliness throughout. Others complain about dated furnishings; that's a real stretch. Maybe slightly, but so what? More importantly, how about that buffet breakfast? Was part of our group package, but even if not, at $25pp, what a spread! One of the better buffets we have encountered in quite some time.

Very easy to recommend this high-quality hotel in central Quito.

Love Quito and the SWISSÔTEL!
Pros:

Clean room with amazing view and large picture window. Very nice gym and spa Available and great Bfast as well. Centrally located with easy access to sightseeing. The people are always friendly and would like to mention Ani at the front desk as being exceptional.

Excellent location, wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Great location, close to bus stops and the metro plus lots of taxis. 2 miles from the historic center, beautiful gardens and lots of museums close by.
Hotel was very comfortable and a high standard. Had a beautiful indoor to outdoor heated pool, and use of a gym, sauna and steam room. Several options for eating just within the hotel which were all excellent. The breakfast buffet is sensational. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
We asked if we could store our luggage on the checkout day since we weren't flying until the evening, they said yes, but they also offered a deal on a room check out extension: pay an extra $60 and we could keep the room until 4pm, and have chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. We took the deal and it was fabulous! We had champagne and delicious chocolate strawberries that night, and then the next morning went for a walk around the historic center before heading back to the hotel for a swim and some spa time. It was the perfect end to our holiday.

Superb Quito hotel for relaxing and sightseeing.
Pros:

Superb. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel facilities were top notch with a lovely heated indoor/outdoor pool and use of the gym, sauna and steam room. The food was incredible and the breakfast buffet is incredible- delicious with a wide range of dishes, and excellent value for money.
The hotel staff were so welcoming and professional. We felt well taken care of. The location is also excellent, on a main road close to buses, taxis and only 2 miles from the historic center of Quito. We would definitely stay here again.

Swissotel Quito
Pros:

This is my second stay here and the Swissotel Quito deserves all five stars. Outstanding, professional and friendly service from every department. The Front Desk staff made check-in very smooth and friendly. The breakfast buffet is amazing with help from Flor Maria and Christian. I also had a wonderful experience in the Bar LePoint thanks to Sarahi and Rony. The housekeeping staff was also very helpful and friendly. All around it was an exceptional experience. I look forward to my next visit. Many thanks!
