I had booked the Banquet hall for my son's 10th Birthday and was very disappointed with the Sales and Operational teams efforts which really caused me to run around all the directions and not enjoy or focus on my Son's most memorable time of his life. I would want others to ensure that you have all the things confirmed a day before and make sure that there is nothing you have to do during your special day.
The overall experience was not as per ITC standard and the charm it had 5 years back is all gone and the management is least bothered. Hope with this message atleast help others to be aware.

This hotel provided a terrible experience with unprofessional, rude staff, and filthy rooms, despite prior requests. Housekeeping was non-existent, and a promised early morning breakfast pack was not provided. Avoid this place; the service is disorganized, disrespectful, and completely fails to meet basic hospitality standards.
There is no proper response from the hotel or duty manager over the calls or emails. We are continuously following up with hotel team. To reach but there is proper response over the calls.

Breakfast spread is not upto mark.
We spent 1 week in Hyderabad in Dec 2025 and stayed at the ITC Kakatiya. It was a marvelous experience. The hotel is ideally situated in the Banjara Hills area and its easy to access both Hyderabad and Secunderabad from there. While the hotel is smack in the middle of the city, you do not get the noise from the vehicles and road as it is set a bit away from the main road. This was helpful while dealing with jet lag.
We found the front desk well staffed and helpful at all times. They accommodated all our requests and helped us diligently with all our queries. The room service was excellent. I would however recommend a universal plug point in the bathrooms for any dual voltage hair styling devices. The breakfast buffet every morning was good with ample choices on the western and continental menus. I would suggest that they add additional options for fresh coconut water, freshly squeezed juices etc. Breakfast is offered at their Deccan Pavilion restaurant.
One of the biggest advantages with this restaurant was that we were able to stay and dine and avail all comforts in one place. After a long international travel, this was a perfect place for a quiet stay.
However, the star attraction for this hotel lies in its restaurants. We tried out both Dakshin and Kebabs & Curries. Both were exemplary. Dakshin offered fantastic south Indian fare from all of the south Indian states. Aside from the regulars, we were able to sample some rare dishes that you mostly don't find on the menu nowadays. Highly recommend their south Indian thalis as these will help with those tough decisions we have to make.
Kebabs and Curries on the other hand was all about the food from North India, Peshawar etc. We did lunch here twice and their food was outstanding. The Roomali rotis were soft like cotton handkerchiefs (which is why the name) and their Dal bukhara is exceptional. Its clear that this is not something that they throw together on a whim but is carefully cooked on slow heat for over 20 hrs. to bring out the flavor. We were particularly happy that the team was able to cater to our request to lower the spice in the food due to dietary constraints. Special thanks to Mr. Sai Bhaskar and the chef for helping us navigate the menu and for providing us with the overview of each dish that we ordered so that we could appreciate it better. It was wonderful to not just eat the good food but actually talk about the nuances involved in making it with the team! Loved that gesture. The Meetha Paan at the end was a fitting end to the meals.
All in all, I would highly recommend the hotel, the restaurants and the team on all aspects. They have taken service to the next level!
Our stay at ITC Kakatiya was truly delightful and lived up to the brand’s reputation for comfort and elegance. The rooms were well-appointed, clean, and extremely comfortable, making our stay both relaxing and memorable.
The massage chair in our suite was a refreshing add on!
A special mention must go to the staff for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. Every interaction was courteous and attentive, and they went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. This level of service genuinely sets the property apart.
The only area where I felt there is room for improvement is in terms of entertainment or engagement options for kids. Having some dedicated activities or play areas for children would make the experience even more enjoyable for families.
Overall, a wonderful stay and a hotel I would happily recommend for its service, comfort, and hospitality.
Nice place
Our stay at ITC Kakatiya was not merely a visit—it was an experience that lingered, long after we checked out. From the very first moment, the hotel unfolded like a well-composed symphony, where luxury and warmth moved in perfect harmony.
The room was expansive and serene, a cocoon of comfort and elegance. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully curated, it felt less like a hotel room and more like a private sanctuary—inviting rest, reflection, and unhurried moments. Every corner spoke of care, every detail of quiet indulgence.
The culinary journey was a delight to the senses. Each meal was lip-smacking, rich with flavour and finesse, crafted not just to satisfy hunger but to create memories. Dining here felt celebratory—where taste, presentation, and passion came together seamlessly.
Yet, what truly gives ITC Kakatiya its soul is its people. The service was not transactional; it was intuitive, gracious, and deeply human. This is a hotel that doesn’t just offer hospitality—it embodies it.
Mr. Menon, the General Manager, stands tall as a beacon of hospitality. His leadership is evident in the effortless precision with which the hotel operates, and in the warmth that flows through every interaction. Shwetha, the Executive Housekeeper, brings a rare blend of professionalism and heartfelt care—her presence ensured comfort, her attention ensured perfection. Edwin, the Food & Beverage Manager, leads with dedication and quiet excellence, inspiring a team that ranks among the most hospitable professionals we have ever encountered.
ITC Kakatiya is where luxury whispers rather than announces itself, where warmth is felt rather than displayed. We leave with gratitude, admiration, and the comforting certainty that we will return—because some places don’t just host you, they stay with you.
The location of the property is central and very convenient. Staff are exceptionally cordial and well trained . They accommodate requests and are always eager to help. The rooms are clean and immaculate.
breakfast was worst and in room dining was not value for money
