Close to restaurants and shops. Great breakfast buffet.
Our stay was not very enjoyable. We booked a higher-tier room for added comfort — but the TV in our room was not working. It would turn on, but then the TV screen would turn completely black. The sound was still on, but the picture was gone. I alerted hotel staff about the problem. Someone came to look at the TV and could not fix it. The staff said the hotel was completely full and there was nothing they could do about it. Then offered to move us to a twin bedroom with a working TV (mind you we were in the balcony room with a king bed). When I asked if I would be reimbursed for the price difference of the room I was told no. Why in the world would we pay the same price for a downgraded room when the problem was on the hotel’s end? Nothing was done to compensate us for the lack of entertainment either. Not even an attempt.
Also, there is nowhere to buy water in Tocq. All they offered were minibars with alcohol and juice in the bedrooms. I went down to the bar to attempt to purchase water, and there was no one working at the bar. We stayed at Avani when we first flew into Milan and enjoyed that stay much more. I would not recommend this hotel.
Centrally located, nice helpful staff, comfortable rooms and great breakfast selection (including lots of vegan options!)
Lovely hotel in a great location. Lovely breakfast options and staff very helpful
At checkin staff told us free continental breakfast. At check out different staff member charged us for breakfast, not happy!!
Excellent, modern hotel in a great location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and trains/trams. Rooms clean and spacious. Amazing choice of food at breakfast. Friendly staff and a special mention needs to be made for Maria at breakfast and the gentleman serving on the bar, for their exceptional service. Recommended hotel and we would stay again.
The hotel was quite nice and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with a nice variety of food and drinks, and even a fresh honeycomb. Lots of fruit.
Our shower kept going from very hot to very cold repeatedly, and wish they provided at least 1 bottle of water for free. There are no stores open nearby at night to buy water. Water from the fridge was just 2 euros though, so it wasn't too bad.
Clean quiet room with great breakfast selection
Very pet friendly which is always appreciated. Room was lovely and comfortable and the plugs for charging our phones all worked great!
Very nice
Clean, quiet, friendly staff and convenient to Garibaldi station. Overpriced because of F1 races, and they didn’t include breakfast even, while my friends booking they did. My toilet seat was loose and moving all over; even when I mentioned, no one came to fix it - or else would be a 5-star rating.
Overall the hotel was great. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because the hotel is next to a club. Which almost every night we were there was loud after it let out. You could clearly hear the people outside. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly and helped us in getting taxis and recommending local places.
Good hotel 4-5 minutes walk to train.
Smart and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. We booked the family room which was actually 2 interconnecting rooms and very good value for the price paid. Rooms are cool and stylish, great air con as we visited in a heat wave. Handy for Porte garibaldi. Various shops and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.
Spacious and clean rooms, nice beds and facilities. However, the walls are paper thin, and staff start cleaning at 6AM. They use vacuum cleaners and drag furnitures across the room. Each night I was waken up at least 4 times by various noises! The night before I left some kids were having birthday party on our floor and I couldn’t sleep. The bald manager whose name started with A was extremely unprofessional, impatient and clearly never trained for such situations. He was reluctant to give me a room change and gave me an invalid key to discourage me from moving. For a hotel with a built-in weakness like “not sound-proof”, you really gotta train your staff better. Other front desk people are kind and willing to help.
Beautiful hotel. Family suite was roomy and had a walk out to a personal roof top patio. Wish we would have stayed longer. staff was great and check in was easy.
The hotel and rooms themselves are very nice. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast staff was very friendly. The front reception staff needs more hospitality training; they seemed slightly rude. My room was on the second floor overlooking a/c units and garbage cans. It also abutted the elevator and I heard constant banging. As I found out when I left at 5am, I was lucky: the front of the hotel faces a nightclub that overflows into the streets until 5 or 6am. It must be even louder in the front.
The hotel is close to the station and lots of restaurants. We arrive late night and the room service prepared food for us even though it's pass their closing time.
Probably one of the best hotels in Italy.
Clean! And the Staff was amazing.
If driving there, there is a garage right next to the hotel.
Family friendly, easy to access from the train station, easy to walk to the Duomo. Great stay!
