A very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Unfortunately, nothing stood out in a positive way.

Cons:

The reception staff was unprofessional and lacked proper communication skills. Many basic items that are usually included in hotels required additional payment. The room did not match the photos at all; it was much smaller and missing essential amenities. The bathroom facilities were also not in good condition. When we raised our concerns, the response was disrespectful, which made the experience even worse.

Pros:

Had the most amazing stay in this hotel. The staff are so lovely and in general I had the best experience. If it is going to be your first time in Beirut I really recommend coming here and also the pub attached to the hotel is perfect.

Will always be coming back to this place.

It’s a historical building as well one of the oldest in beirut.

So glad to be back to the Mayflower
Pros:

This was our second time staying at the Mayflower and everything was wonderful again! The room was big, well equipped and comfortable with a large attached balcony and a very spacious and luxurious bathroom. The staff were all amazing from the reception to the bar and restaurant. Delicious Lebanese breakfast (with options for English or Continental as well) served in the charming Duke of Wellington restaurant and bar. We had so many special memories here over the years. Special thanks to the staff and especially the owner for his kind hospitality. We will always be back ❤️
