Exceptional hotel. Loved it and Madeira
Pros:

Very courteous and helpful staff. Great amenities including bar cafe at every level. The access to the sea was fantastic. Plenty of loungers and hot showers and toilets at sea level. Room spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. The omelette chef was great as well.

Cons:

No complaints really. A bit of a walk to the old town but plenty of buses and taxis and lots of great restaurants nearby.

Pros:

У нас был апгрейд номера до Джуниор сьюта с фантастическим видом на бассейн и океан. Очень вкусные завтраки и потрясающий нижний бассейн. Отличный и комфортный спуск в океан.

Das Essen am Buffet war enttäuschend. Vieles war unserer Meinung nach zu wenig gewürzt.

Bei den Getränken (sogar an der Bar) werden automatisch 10% OPTIONALES Trinkgeld verrechnet. Man muss sie dann jedes mal bitten diese zu entfernen und eine neue Quittung zu drucken. Ich finde dieses Vorgehen äußerst fraghaft. Es handelt sich nicht um optionales Trinkgeld, wenn es ohne zu fragen auf der Rechnung steht.

A three star in dire need of refurbishment. Very dated not worth the price

No beach .. despite mentioning in promo

Staff made no effort to engage
Breakfast chaotic and patrons sneezing/ touching food with hands no monitoring of it
Floor 17 very high and balcony height didn’t feel safe
No orientation at check in
Confusing layout
The so called beach access area was like a concrete jungle, nothing redeeming here to enjoy. Dirty lift to access it. Really awful .
It’s a shame that a hotel with this location and view falls so short of customer service.

Cons:

Ich hatte 2 Probleme im Zimmer:
Die Balkontür schloss nicht (wurde nach dem 2. mal ansprechen behoben) und die Badlüftung hat nicht funktioniert (wurde nicht behoben, hab es 4 mal angebrochen und hatte dann aber keine Lust mehr mich damit zu beschäftigen). Anscheinend hat die Absprache zwischen Techniker und Rezeption nicht funktioniert, denn sie sagten an der Rezeption immer, dass der Techniker da war, aber der Fehler wurde nicht behoben, davon wusste die Rezeption aber nichts. Letztendlich war dadurch im Bad leider immer eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und es roch muffig, daneben war leider gleich der offene Wandschrank. Die Klimaanlage und das Balkonfenster waren beide am anderen Ende des Wohnraumes, kam dadurch nicht so richtig bis ins Bad an. Solche Sachen sind bei dem Preis schon schade.
