The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. We had a room on a high floor with a spectacular ocean view, exactly as requested, so thank you for accommodating that. The room was spacious, modern, comfortable, and very functional, with everything in excellent condition. Housekeeping was exceptionally efficient, keeping the room spotless while being almost invisible.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and high quality, also local food, and enough variety to make every morning enjoyable. The pool area is one of the hotel's highlights, offering several beautiful pools with plenty of space to relax. We also particularly appreciated the direct access to the ocean, which made swimming in the Atlantic possible.
Finally, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional. A special mention goes to the bar staff, who were consistently welcoming, attentive, and contributed to the relaxed holiday atmosphere. Overall, this is a hotel we would gladly return to.
There were only a few issues, but they were noticeable. One of the three elevators was out of service for five-days, which resulted in long waiting times, especially when going down. In addition, the elevator control logic seemed inefficient: two elevators would often respond to the same call and then stop on almost every floor on the way down, even when nobody entered or exited, making the journey ... a real adventure.
One of the showers by the Atlantic pool was leaking throughout the whole week. It appeared that the hose and shower head simply needed replacing, so it was surprising that such a small and inexpensive repair had not been carried out during our stay.
Access to the ocean could be improved. The area around the two access ladders became quite congested, making entry and exit less convenient. Installing an additional ladder would likely solve the problem and improve the experience for guests who enjoy swimming in the sea.
Finally, the air conditioning could not be left running while we were out of the room because it switched off when the key card was removed. I understand the environmental rationale behind this policy, but after several hours away the room became quite warm, and it took some time to cool it down again after returning.

À entrada facultaram-nos um quarto no piso 11 antiquado, sem espaço para arrumação, comunicando com o quarto contíguo por porta antiga, sem qualquer isolamento sonoro, sem qualquer privacidade, as mobílias de quarto antigas e degradadas, tal como as madeiras em geral, guarda roupa mínimo e sem portas, parede de parte da casa de banho revestida a tela inacabada e a descolar da parede, mesas de cabeceira e de quarto em madeira degradada e descontextualizada do resto, louças sanitárias e banheiro visivelmente antigos e algo degradados. Em suma, parecia um quarto de serviço ou de recurso para uma qualquer emergência. Após reclamação no dia seguinte, fomos transferidos para quarto mais digno no piso 15, sem porta para quarto contíguo, com boa cama de casal, materiais mais modernos e bem conservados, assim como a casa de banho mais digna e com melhores materiais. De um modo geral, diria que este quarto está à altura de um hotel de 4 estrelas. Tem uma magnífica vista de mar (que foi paga, naturalmente, aquando da reserva), as varandas são boas, as estão mal isoladas das varandas contíguas, o que compromete a privacidade.
It is huge with pools and ocean. Great views over the see. Great staff in reception. The breakfast is fantastic.
A bit dated, long wait in restaurants, no coffee refill in room. Pool bar close 17:30 which is to early. I like to stay by the pool until 19:30
