We are delighted to announce the renovation of the Hotel Metropole Geneva. The constructions will be organized in order to maintain the operations of our hotel, which has a really important place in the hearts of the Genevans.
All possible solutions are in place to minimize any inconvenience during your stay.

After the rooms and meeting spaces, it's now time to redesign our restaurant and bar and offer you a unique experience in Geneva as of next year. While our outlets are closed, a complimentary Hospitality Lounge is available for our in-house guests and offers self-serviced drinks and finger foods . The in-room dining is available around the clock, as well as the MET Rooftop (except during seasonal closing) . Our concierge team, true destination expert, will be happy to suggest partner restaurants suiting your tastes just a few steps from the hotel, located in the heart of downtown.
Please note that the hotel entrance, Quai du Général Guisan, as well as our valet parking service, will remain available throughout the renovation period.

Slecht ik had nooit voor dit hotel gekozen als ik had geweten dat alle voorzieningen dicht waren.

Cons:

Alles, het hotel was aan het verbouwen, er was geen lobby, geen restaurant, geen bar, geen gym, helemaal niets alleen een kleine ruimte met een mini ontbijt. Wij hadden een kamer geboekt met 2 bedden die bedden waren zo verschrikkelijk smal als je, je eigen omdraaide dan viel je er bijna uit.

L'hôtel est chic avec des très beaux matériaux, très propre et personnel très accueillant

Cons:

Un peu austère et aucune fleur nulle part, chambre réservée avec vue sur le jardin qui finalement à super vue sur la route en travaux...

Do not book there
Pros:

I am a regular client in this hotel which is perfectly located and used to offer a comfortable and friendly experience.

Cons:

Unfortunately over the past few months and for many more to come, the hotel is undergoing heavy construcion works while staying open.
My last experience was a room heated at 50 degrees celsius with employees incapable of fixing the problem. I had to sleep with the window opened on the street. No sleep.
Bar is closes. It took me 10 mn to find somebody for the check out at 6am. At €900 the night it is not acceptable.
I would strongly recommand to prioritize other hotels in Geneve and wait for the Works to be completed to test again the Metropole.

The room cleanliness is poot
Air-conditioning was not available. I couldn't open the window as the noise from the road was loud. The whole night i was awake after paying for two nights. I had to shorten the stay and requested the front desk agent. She said pay now full and booking.com will reverse my second night charges. I didn't get even the invoice. And no payment reversed.
Really very bad experience with this hotel
Also, restaurant service was poor. They don't have the buffet replenished and the service team was not approachable
Please look into reimburse my second night

Pros:

El staff del Hotel son gente realmente agradable y servicial. Especial atención al servicio de valette, que fueron muy amables.

Cons:

Me dieron una habitación muy antigua, en un ala que aún no estaba reformada. Justo al lado había habitaciones vacías totalmente renovadas.
