Please note we are undertaking a partial renovation from October 2024 to April 2025. All measures have been taken to guarantee the comfort of our guests. Our restaurants and spa facilities will remain fully open.

What a view!
Pros:

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the lake. Stunning view. It was a national holiday when we were there so had a fabulous view of the fireworks display. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food and great fresh fruit selection. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool areas were really nice inside and out. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this hotel.

Georgous Hotel to stay at!
Pros:

Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were great and surprisingly large. The views of lake Geneva were stunning. It was walkable to all of Montreux.

Great location and beautiful hotel, helpful staff but not great value for money in comparison to other hotels we’ve stay

Beautiful view from the rooms, one room was very luxurious, breakfast was amazing with brilliant staff, great location!

Cons:

Restaurant staff (jazz club) were less than inspiring in comparison to the breakfast staff (except for Clara). Some problems in our room which was a little older/worn.

Stay away if you are expecting any 5 star service.
Pros:

By far the worst Fairmont Property we have stayed at. Stay away. We booked since it was advertised as a 5 star property. Close to 3k for 3 nights. There is zero service. No one gives a xxx . No one greats you with a smile or genuine about hospitality. First night we dined at the Jazz Cafe as recommended by the front desk since we arrived around 7pm. Once seated we waited 20 min for service and the person who took our order never showed up again. The same level of service at concierge where the guy wouldn't help with dinner recommendations. At check out they held our bags until evening and just brought 6 bags to the lobby and no help loading. They just are arrogant and classless for a supposedly 5*.

And finally AC. Don't expect much we had the temp set to the lowest they would allow 18.5 and felt more like 23.
When raised the issue the manager came to the room and unlocked thermostat and set it for 17. Still didn't solve the problem. He said maintenance would show up the next day and no one did. They just left us a fan.

We have been diamond member for a few years will AllCor and decided to try Fairmont again. Never going again. We are done with the Fairmont brand.
