I had a great experience at Intercontinental Bangkok. Staff is incredibly hospitable, receptive and attentive. I really enjoy the lounge on the 37th floor. The lounge staff, Uma, Jui, Phee, Moss, Amy, Kik, Ink, Geng, Pam, An and Natty were all cordial, attentive and always willing to please. I stay at this hotel frequently, with each stay reinforcing my decision to do so. Great hotel that is 5 stars and the better of the two Intercontinental hotels in Bangkok.

Excellent service deserves recognition. My stay was made extra special by Khun Thipthanin at concierge and Khun Fang who made up the rooms. They paid attention to detail and exceeded expectations.

Definitely recommend this hotel for the location and service.

I would like to comment on the overall staying experience in room 17-18.

Location: Right smack in the central of Bangkok where walking to shopping malls and four-faced buddha temple is extremely convenient.

View: Unblocked and absolutely gorgeous!

Service: I was greeted well by an English-speaking front-desk staff and she guided me well. Despite my request to change to a room less high up, she accommodated as well. On the last night I was feeling weird about the room and called the staff and manager to my room, the manager was really patient and showed care to me when I was travelling alone. d offered me camomile tea f.o.c when it was supposed to be charged. Thank you.

Room & Bath: It was really spacious and the bed was comfortable and the lighting was alright. Just a tad too spacious for a solo traveller. Mirrors can be minimised imho. Bathroom was luxe with long bath. But there were noise, I supposed the sound proof wasn't perfect.

Hotel: Entrance and lobby were very inviting and luxurious for an international chain hotel. Except that the hotel corridor for rooms are quite dim.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you Intercontinental Bangkok.

But what truly sets this property apart is the exceptional staff. Their level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. Last year, I had a medical emergency, and the team didn’t hesitate for a moment, they personally escorted me to the hospital. They continued to check on me throughout my hospitalization and recovery. That kind of compassion is rare, and it left a lasting impression.

When I returned this year, they greeted me by name, asked about my health, and welcomed me back with genuine warmth. From thoughtful handwritten notes to small surprises left in my room, they consistently go the extra mile. Every interaction feels sincere, and every stay feels like coming home.

InterContinental Bangkok doesn’t just meet expectations, it sets the bar for what true customer service should be. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Having stayed at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo and InterContinental Osaka, I have high expectations for the brand. For my recent conference at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, I chose the InterContinental Bangkok. The extensive post-pandemic renovation has been a triumph—it perfectly balances the hotel’s original grandeur with a sleek, contemporary interior design.

A standout feature that truly sets this property apart is the Butler Service (offered for Junior Suites and above). As an IHG Platinum Ambassador, I was assigned Ms. Kodchaphorn S. (Pony) as my dedicated butler. Her assistance was invaluable; she seamlessly coordinated my room upgrade from a Premium Club Lounge Access Room to a Junior Suite Club Lounge Access Room. What surprised me most was that Pony personally greeted me during my check-in at the Club Lounge. In many five-star hotels, pre-arrival coordinators are rarely seen in person, but this personal touch made a lasting impression. Throughout my stay, I received immediate support via Line for any request. Thank you, Pony, for your incredible hospitality!

The Junior Suite itself is impressive. At 67 square meters with a separate living room and bedroom, it rivals "Full Suite" standards in Japan. I was particularly pleased to find Sound Bars equipped under the TVs in both rooms—a consistent feature I’ve appreciated in Japanese InterContinental hotels. It allowed me to easily stream music from my laptop while working at the round table in the living room after my meetings.

The bedroom is thoughtfully designed with a dedicated vanity and a Dyson hair dryer, which was extremely convenient. For breakfast, I highly recommend experiencing both venues: the Club InterContinental Lounge offers a peaceful environment with an excellent à la carte menu and buffet, while the Espresso restaurant features a breathtakingly diverse buffet. I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Chinese breakfast options like congee with pork floss and fried dough sticks (You Tiao).

With its unbeatable location next to CentralWorld and the BTS Chit Lom station, this hotel is the premier choice for both business and leisure travelers in Bangkok. I highly recommend it!

We could not fault our stay at the Intercontinental Bangkok. The staff are so friendly and provide exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble. The club lounge was amazing and a welcome treat with high tea and cocktails every day. The location near centralw0rld is very convenient.

It was my dream to stay in this hotel and it was well worth it. I love the convenience and proximity to Central world the bts and other restaurants. Although the BTS can be a bit noisy throughout the day.
With regards to the service, absolutely amazing, room, also absolutely amazing. Food was well presented and delicious. Hotel lounge was also beautiful overlooking the skyline. Staff are amazing, the buttler team took great care of me and my girlfriend. I recommend and will also be back.

I gave the InterContinental a 5/5 because I had a really great stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made it easy to relax. One of the best parts was the rooftop pool — it was amazing and the view was really nice.

The breakfast was also great with lots of different options, and the food overall was really good. There were plenty of choices so you never run out of things to try.

Another thing I liked was the location. There are malls right in front of the hotel, which makes it super convenient if you want to shop or just walk around. Overall it was a really good experience and I’d definitely stay there again.
