Did we enjoy our stay- yes, would we go back - no
Pros:

Stylish, large rooms (pictures in harsh daylight don’t do them justice), staff couldn’t be more helpful, cool ceiling in the breakfast room. Nice view of Forbes house. Yoga mats in the room wardrobe! Japanese Toto toilet was fun. “Complimentary” prosecco on arrival.

Cons:

Breakfast is slow a-la carte, thankfully we weren’t in a hurry. Despite long menu it was hard to choose. I wanted juice, a bit of fruit, eggs and coffee without any bread/buns/muffins and there wasn’t such option, I’d have to pay a fortune and order numerous pricey dishes from the menu to include everything I wanted.
Location was ok.
At the start we were charged £200 deposit, at the checkout we had to sign for our expenses on a digital screen, among them were some unclearly named charges. We inquired and were told it’s like a “voluntary” service charges. Would you like to receive detailed receipt on your email? Yes please. Never received it. Not even sure how much those charges were in total. Would have been much nicer if there was a step to add service charges/tips with recommended amount and we would have added it. As it was, the process had left an unpleasant aftertaste.

One of a kind, contemporary afternoon tea
Pros:

I went with my husband to celebrate his birthday. It was the best afternoon tea that we ever have. Service was excellent and attentive. Special shout out to Gabriel who spent time to explain every item to us. Everyone was so kind and said hi to us. Their afternoon tea offer was not your ordinary fare. You could tell they really put their heart into every dish. Highly recommend this place.

Not your traditional Afternoon Tea
Pros:

Not your traditional Afternoon Tea but so much better! My friends and I were looking for a healthier version for our reunion and having tried the Como Shambala breakfast in the past, I knew this would be a perfect option. The meal was a whole experience with aromatherapy style and super tasty and healthy food! The atmosphere was so calm and so much more relaxing than any other afternoon tea I’ve had in London. We didn’t feel rushed at all and the staff was fantastic. They made us feel welcome to come back again!
