Pros:

I really appreciated the lady at the desk (I think her name was Chelsea) moving me to a lower room when I was booked into the 3rd floor. She was very kind and hospitable.

Ideal spot for visiting my family and trip to Villa Park in evening UTV
Pros:

Good breakfast, previous visits thought there were more selections were available at breakfast fruit yogurt and fried eggs, more toasters? Bacon was well cooked and exceptional on this visit

Cons:

The lift was out of operation, so room on 3rd floor gave some exercise. Thankfully only staying one night had 6 trips up and down stairs with a small bag for carrying.

It was a Pleasant stay overall, we extended it for another night

It was clear and quiet with ample parking space.

Lift wasn’t working the property was being renovated. So hopefully it’ll be better next time

Will not return to this IHG Hotel
Pros:

Location only, didnt like anything else.

Cons:

Room dated, toilet door DOES NOT lock as NO lock on it !!! Room 120.
Shower so dirty and shabby we didnt use it.
Main Bed was shocking, springs everywhere so hardly slept and the sofa bed was bad also.
Customers slamming doors ... which hotel can do nothing about, but we had a 350 mile drive to do and were exhausted before we began journey back.
Breakfast was worst we have had, didnt cater well for under 18s.
