Exceeded expectations and excellent value for money.
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming, particularly the lady who served drinks in the bar. The room was very spacious and had all the facilities we wanted. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was clean. There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast. We have stayed at other HI Express but this one was really excellent value for money.

Cons:

My partner would have liked Real Ale in the bar!!

Everyone were great, but Claire and Eva? (11/09/2026 evening sift) were incredible welcoming and polite. They made everything supereasy for me

Fabulous place to stay. Great staff. Very helpful and friendly!
Pros:

Great friendly helpful staff
Bodies on reception and others ! And also the manager at breakfast on the Saturday and all the other breakfast staff were so nice too.

Cons:

Smell of stale smoke in our room 124.
And view was terrible...a roof lol!
Toilet door handle was filthy bit i cleaned it!
But everything else made up for that!

Pros:

All the staff were very pleasant & helpful. The room was lovely & clean and an ideal location as a stopover to Brighton.
We arrived late at night but we're still able to get hot food. The breakfast in the morning was great with a good choice to suit everyone.
Would definitely stay here again
