Very convenient to tube station and in a safe walkable area. Staff was kind, room was clean. As someone from the U.S. that is used to massive everything, this was very comfortable and perfect.

Location and helpful staff
The heating was an electric radiator, so the room was cold when we returned to the hotel. The duvet was too small for the super king bed and it was quite thin. The bathroom needed attention - the pop up plugs didn't work and the blind was torn and didn't match the decor. The bedside lamps were very old so not very functional.
Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pictures on Booking.com are quite accurate.
We received a room upgrade upon our arrival. The room was spacious (comfortable king bed, wardrobe, sofa, wing back chair, coffee table and flat screen tv) with a nice bathroom with tub and shower; good water pressure, as well.
We liked having lots of natrual light through the windows. Being able to open the windows was nice to help cool the space. While there is a thermostat in the room and there is supposed to be air conditioning, it did not seem to cool the room to a comfortable temperature for us.
We appreciated having our room automatically serviced daily, which is not often the norm in hotels in the U.S. since the pandemic.
The included breakfast that we opted for was ok. I would describe it as a decent European continental breakfast. They offered fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, croissants, boxed cereals and sliced bread for toasting with butter and jam available. Delicious French press coffee or hot water for tea was offered along with several different juice choices and milk.
I will preface this by saying, none of these things would prevent us staying at this hotel again, but felt worth mentioning for others looking for their perfect stay in London.
The hotel did not provide wash cloths (not unusual in Europe) and the bathtub was quite high for stepping in to shower; worth noting if you have mobility issues or are short (I'm 5 feet.).
There was a separate menu offering hot options like a full English breakfast but for an additional fee. This was the most disappointing part of our stay, as we expected the hot breakfast to be included since the cost of the included breakfast was listed as having a $20 value on Booking.com.
Not a deal breaker for us but worth noting for those with mobility issues: while there is a nice, small elevator that allows access to the upper floors of the hotel, there are several steps that must be climbed to get into the building.
Our room did not happen to have a dedicated desk space which would have been appreciated as my husband was doing some remote work during our week long stay.
The location was excellent—very quiet despite being in a central area and only 4 minutes from the metro. The room was wonderful: peaceful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. I highly recommend it. 😊

Friendly-ish receptionist, clean room with all the amenities, great service at the restaurant with continental breakfast with plenty of pastries, eggs, cheeses, wide variety of cereals and a full French press coffee. Located in a busy area by Chelsea and the Kensington area, is very close to museums, parks, restaurants and shopping centers (Harrods).
The hotel needs a bit of renovation, the climate-controlled system not working properly, it was very hot, we opened windows to cool off. The bathroom ceiling needs a hand of fresh paint, one section was pealing and a wall was stained. The furniture on our upgraded deluxe room has seen its days, time to replace them. Bed was advertised as "King size" but it was two beds butted together and no single mattress.
Posizione centrale vicino alla stazione della metropolitana
The hotel is very close to the National History Museum and the Science Museum. The underground station is around the corner. The hotel was priced adequately. We prefer to stay in the hotel overnight and explore London rather than rush back to Surrey. Ashburn was exactly what we needed for 1 night. The staff is friendly, and check-in was super fast. The hotel was not noisy, though it was next to the main road. Quietness is important when traveling with kids. Rooms are cosy, beds are comfy, and very clean, huge towels. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of a modern touch and decoration. Then again, it's an old building, so we had everything we needed. Tea/coffee station was a nice bonus as well as complimentary water in the fridge. Always important to have. Thank You!
All good. Not so many facilities or space - only 1 sitting room downstairs. But we were not planning to sit in the hotel when we could see London.

Despite being in a busy neighborhood our room was very quiet. In fact the hotel is quiet and there is always someone at the desk.
