I liked the layout of the room, and the decor.
Breakfast was lovely.
Choice of a firm or soft pillow.
Easy to find.
The shower was cold. I didn't try it, hubbies did.
The bed was ok, not the most comfortable, but not awful.

Toilet flush not working properly. Air conditioner became hot and noisy early morning. We were put in the room that allowed dogs so early morning they are barking already
Service was excellent. Lots of staff onsite, very courteous and hard working.
Room booked was a standard king - it was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Room had air conditioning, fridge and safe. A34 is close by but room double glazed and no road noise heard.
Large, modern spacious bar and restaurant area with work spaces. Good food choices at reasonable prices.
Onsite parking charged at reasonable rate. Much cheaper than Central Oxford parking and there us Peartree Park and Ride adjacent where bus run regularly into Oxford.
Really enjoyed our stay. More impressed than we expected to be as usually stay in central Oxford. Would recommend and will definitely return.

No onsite EV chargers, but there are a couple at adjacent A34 services. Most modern hotels now installing in their car parks for use by Hotel guests.
Shower pressure a bit low but okay and perfectly usuable. Shower over the bath which is fine but shower hose fixed to wall fitting - a personal dislike as it makes it impossible to wash hair over the bath!
Weird pre-authorisation of full amount for room made, then further charges for bill. We ended up at one stage with three pending charges out of our account which is fine if you have plenty of funds available in your account - we had about £800 pending charges at one point for a £300 stay. All sorted out and only exact amount paid within a few days but strange company policy which could stop people booking and returning.

We are very happy with our stay. There's a harvester pub next door serving good food. A bus stop nearby took us into Taunton.
