Okay Business Stay
Pros:

Some colleagues and I stayed a night at the Holiday Inn Express in Fairhope while in the area for work. The rate was really good and we enjoyed having breakfast included. The hotel was clean, but it did miss the mark on some things. There was no hand soap in my room. Shampoo was in the place of the hand soap. There wasn’t even a bar of soap provided like at other hotels. I could hear everyone in the hallway clearly in my room which was disrupting. I did enjoy the comfortable bed. Overall, this was an okay stay for me for a night. I was underwhelmed compared to other IHG properties so I would not go out of my way to stay here again,

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located.

Cons:

I did not like the queen size bed. It looked like the room once had a king bed based on the position of the built-in bedside tables. The bathroom layout was very tight.

All in all our stay was good.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. However, there was a travel baseball group in the hotel during our stay who was every noisy. Their loud and boisterous party began at 6;30 am until almost 7:00. I was not ready to be awaken that early. We were on the first flood room 117
