Pros:

Really nice staff, comfortable rooms, and a good location. The shopping area on Abbot Kinney is just a 10 minute walk away, about the same distance to the beach. It is easy to find street parking though beware of LA's complex and confusing parking regulation signs. Be sure to read all of the signs to figure out whether it is OK to park for the days and times you need. Otherwise find another street.

A good refurb of an old building, close(ish) to beach.
Pros:

Great location and easy to find. Staff were friendly and welcoming but not that informative on check-in

Cons:

If you stay there request level 3 rooms only. It’s a refurbished older wooden building and the floor creaks when people above you walk…not to mention the stomper that was above me. Plus, when someone around you run the shower you hear all the old plumbing working like you’re sitting on it, it’s so loud.

Pros:

Staff were so helpful and attentive! The room was spacious, air conditioning was great.

I think the location is superb if you have a car. The room was a bit outdated.

Fijn verblijf om LA en Santa Monica te verkennen.
Pros:

We kregen een upgrade naar een suite. Ruime kamer mer een fijn bed. Fijn zwembadje en hot tub. Fietshuur gemakkelijk en niet te duur.

Cons:

Als je een kamer aan de ‘recreation zone’ hebt, hoor je tot 22:00/23:00 muziek alsof je in je kamer muziek hebt aanstaan. Parkeren erg duur (36$ per nacht!).

Easy-going, greatly located hotel between Venice and Marina Del Rey
Pros:

Great location, nice design. Specious room equipped with all you need for a few days stay.

Cons:

Complimentary water was unavailable: it was impossible to open the window.

Great short stay hotel. Can imagine it being great fun and a good base for a group trip.
Pros:

This hotel is quirky and fun. It’s a good stopover for 1-2 nights.
The playlist being played isn’t the communal areas was fantastic!
Staff were really friendly and helpful :)

Cons:

If you have a room next to the shared areas you can feel overlooked, so if that bothers you be sure to request a room away from the centre. Pool is very small and looks onto the road.
