Cons:

One staff member attempted to charge us for the room even though was already paid, with proof, and when she checked and explained it was an issue on their end, no apology was given.
The room smelled when we arrived and lingered for the entire stay.

Nice room, nice facilities and welcoming staff
Pros:

Nice decor, felt close to the action. Good facilities ( a small pool, fitneas center and lounging areas as well ). Staff very accommodating about us leaving our car out front to unload bags etc.

Un hôtel original, agréable et bien situé, parfait pour profiter de l’ambiance de Venice et de Los A
Pros:

J’ai beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement de l’hôtel, très pratique pour découvrir Los Angeles et notamment le secteur de Venice et Marina del Rey. L’ambiance du Kinney est originale, moderne et décontractée, avec une décoration colorée qui change des hôtels plus classiques. La chambre était agréable et l’atmosphère générale conviviale, ce qui correspond parfaitement à l’esprit californien.

Cons:

La propreté de la chambre était malheureusement décevante, notamment dans la salle de bains où nous avons trouvé des cheveux à notre arrivée.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour quatre personnes avec deux grands lits, mais à notre arrivée, nous avons découvert qu’il n’y avait qu’un lit et un canapé-lit, qui n’était même pas préparé, alors que la réservation était bien prévue pour une famille de quatre personnes. Heureusement, l’hôtel a été très réactif : après l’avoir signalé, le personnel a rapidement fait monter deux lits d’appoint et s’est occupé de les préparer.

Autre petit désagrément : il n’y avait pas suffisamment de serviettes pour quatre personnes et nous avons dû en demander des supplémentaires.

Enfin, même si l’emplacement est pratique pour visiter Venice et Marina del Rey, les alentours immédiats de l’hôtel ne sont pas très agréables le soir. Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis totalement à l’aise en rentrant à pied et je conseillerais d’être vigilant une fois la nuit tombée.

Terrible experience
Pros:

When we got there we were told that there would be fire alarm inspections the following day from 10-11. So the following day we were out until around noon. When we got back the testing was still happening so we decided we would go to the beach. My husband opened the door to see about the noise. Just then one of the fire alarm inspectors shoved past him and walked into the room. He didn’t say may I enter or excuse me or anything. Luckily, I had just put a bra on, but I definitely wasn’t expecting for a stranger to just barge into our room. We went immediately to the front desk and told them what happened. They agreed that it was inappropriate and that they are supposed to knock before entering the room. They said the manager would call me. The manager never called. I wrote a review on booking hoping for some sort of apology or something for this breach of privacy and I got nothing. Not even to be told that they had talked to the man or reprimanded him. In fact, in one of my reviews they called me a liar. I’m not one to write 1 star reviews, but the initial situation and the actions that followed made this hard to ignore.

Posizione molto buona, struttura moderna e pulita. Ampio parcheggio (a pagamento).

Cons:

In generale tutto ok, abbiamo soltanto avuto un problema con l’upgrade della camera. Avevamo richiesto l’upgrade della camera dopo aver ricevuto una mail in cui si chiedeva se fossimo interessati ad un upgrade, ma arrivati in struttura abbiamo scoperto che che si trattava più di un downgrade che di un upgrade in quanto siamo passati da due letti king size a un letto king size e un divano letto. Dopo un paio di discussioni con lo staff, per scusarsi non ci hanno fatto pagare il parcheggio (38$ a notte).

Very good hotel in a nice area not far from Venice beach
Pros:

Staff were helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable . Liked the bike rental option available at the hotel. Good parking policy.

Nuit parfaite à LA (juste le parking qui est excessivement cher)
Pros:

Personnel accueillant, chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable. L’espace piscine/bien-être n’a pas été testé. Emplacement intéressant à 1 mile de Venice beach. Je recommande cet établissement.

Cons:

Le parking est très cher, cela gâche clairement l’expérience !
