I had a wonderful stay I’ll definitely will return
Pros:

The property is very clean very quiet. The rooms are amazing. The beds very comfortable. I love the customer service. The guys in the front desk is very friendly and he made me feel welcome. If you are traveling to the Salinas area I would definitely recommend to stay at the Howard Johnson. It’s definitely very clean comfortable

The property was clean and comfortable for the most part

Cons:

The staff working here upon checking in I was not told about the no guest policy that they have here. Never heard of that policy before except for When the hotel staff are actually living at the hotel which gives them the power to make house rules I suppose, but it is completely unprofessional and I feel like I was being discriminated against will not be coming back.
