My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We liked the inn, especially the great location, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff, who were always very kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice touch and a great way to start the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

The only downside was the sound insulation. We could clearly hear noise from the apartment above. During the two nights we stayed, the footsteps from the upstairs unit were quite noticeable, even late at night when most people would normally be sleeping.

this property has so much potential . The rooms are not as seen in photo and cleanliness is the main point of contention. The owners need to seek advice and get a loan to refurbish this property it’s a gold mine !

Pros:

Solid choice for a Santa Barbara stay, especially if you're watching your budget. The motel is just a short walk from the beach — not glamorous, but the location genuinely works well for anyone who wants easy beach access without paying resort prices. Free street parking right in front of the property was a nice bonus. The room was comfortable and clean — nothing extraordinary, but everything you actually need was there. Good bed, decent space, no complaints. For the price point, it delivers well above what you might expect. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay — approachable, quick to assist, and clearly happy to be there. That kind of attitude goes a long way. Overall, Inn at East Beach won't blow you away, but it's a genuinely good option if you want a comfortable, well-located base in Santa Barbara without overspending. Would stay again.

Good stay
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were very accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, a little less room than the pictures led us to believe.

Cons:

The shower was huge, but the shower bench was at the opposite end from where the shower head was. It really needed a snake hose.
