Breakfast was under average

Everything. Dirty, not kept up, everything falling apart, mold in the shower and under kitchen sink. Dishes in cupboard dirty, bed was not clean, couch was stained & dirty. It was horrible. Stove & refrigerator was rusty outside & stove was filthy. ADA toilet had screws sticking out. Dangerous & shower floor was slippery because of the mold and not cleaned. Electrical cords hanging out of light in kitchen.

The walls in the unit had unfinished painting. The window in the bathroom wouldn't stay up for ventilation. The cleaner used had a strong smell.

There was no A/C

No air conditioning. No elevator. Dirty floors. Had to almost beg to get room service. No room cleaning unless requested the day before. Not enough towels. Kleenex was not supplied. No microwave. Office staff was very unprofessional. It was very noisy, screens were torn on the windows. Windows were not secure or safe. No electronic keys. Old fashioned locks and keys. No jacuzzi. Beds were too springy and soft. Beds were too high. No Bible in the room. No coffee maker. Not enough hangers in closet. Parking was expensive.

There is no AC in the hotel and our room was uncomfortably hot. There were no privacy shades on the window but to get any air, we had to open our curtains completely so we had zero privacy. We also had to open the door, allowing everyone passing by to see inside. We needed a roll away bed for our son and the quality of the mattress was horrible- you could feel every coil - yet we had to pay an extra $15 per night for it. Breakfast was some pre packaged pastries and bananas. Other hotels of the same standard provide cereal, toast, and hard boiled eggs as well.

Yes, this is a budget hotel and we have stayed in several, but this was disappointing. Flooring was coming up. The curtain rod above the window was coming off the wall. Sink had two faucets and one sprayed all over the place. No AC in room, just a plug-in fan and a ceiling fan. Mold around windows and in shower tile grout. The fixtures in the shower pull away from the wall and are not 100% secured. The towel rack was rusted and needed replacement. More disturbing was in the shower area there must have been a leak in the room above as there was a drywall patch that there was no mud or finish, so there was a space around it. AND safety issue, some of the electrical wall outlets did not have covers on them.
Many of the repairs necessary are not that expensive and I believe require immediate attention.
Also, fair warning - walking on the beach near the waters edge, beware of black tar substance coming from the oil rigs in the ocean. Threw out a pair of cheap flip-flops!

I did not like all the delicious free coffee, I couldn't stop myself from drinking coffee all day.

Floors where dirty i took some bed socks to wear around the room and they were black after 1 day! Had to ask for a fan as the ceiling fan didn't cut it, but a floor fan was provided immediately and solved the issue.

Did not like the "breakfast". Not enough choices, just fruit and prepackaged pastries.
