We recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Gold Coast with our family and had such a lovely experience overall.
The complimentary room upgrade was such a nice surprise and made our stay feel extra special. The beds were unbelievably soft and comfortable, honestly some of the best hotel beds we’ve slept in. The food options were also fantastic with plenty to choose from, and room service was impressively quick every time we ordered.
A couple of small areas for improvement would be the pool area, which could probably do with a bit of updating, and housekeeping was occasionally a little slow.
We love the location. It's quiet with easy access to the beach and plenty of good eating options nearby. This was our third stay here and we still love it.
The rooms are starting to feel a little old. Still comfortable though.

The bed was super comfy, rooms were a great size, pool bar served amazing margaritas, room was clean, the grounds are lovely especially at night when it’s lit up - it makes for a lovely walk to dinner.
The location was amazing
The room we booked waa not allocated- i booked a resort view and were given garden view- when we requested the resort view, we were asked to pay extra $190. Which is not right
Good services
Not reasonable price than facility actually
Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast Buffett was really good
Pouring rain and thunder all weekend :(
Spa bath
Asked for ocean view got no view... extra for parking 🙄 room service was poor... being a wheelchair user couldn't use the walk bridge to cross the road... lots of stairs no clear guide for accessing places in wheelchair...

The bedding and the food.
The place is amazing. I ordered a coffee and it took 30 minutes to arrive, but it was good. The room service and reception were good, not great but definitely good. Usually, when you check out at a hotel, they ask how your night was and if everything’s okay, but here it seemed like no one cared.
Nice
Carpets smelled
The resort has a very grand, luxurious feel on arrival, and the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed. We really enjoyed the overall experience of relaxing here.
High tea at Pearls Bar was enjoyable, not the best we’ve had, but still a nice experience. Cocktails by the pool bar were a highlight and made for a relaxing afternoon.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options and definitely worth the price. The gardens were beautifully maintained, and we appreciated the cold filtered water stations on the hotel levels, which were a great touch.
It was quite difficult to secure two seats by the pool, and there was a noticeable wait of around 20–30 minutes for cocktails at the pool bar.
While the resort presents as luxurious, some areas felt tired, with visible rust and dirt that could benefit from a refresh.
There were also a few small details that felt out of place, like a robot vacuum left sitting on our floor when we arrived, which didn’t align with the overall luxury feel.
Given the condition of some facilities, the pricing felt a little off, leaning toward overpriced for what’s currently offered.
