Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora

Stayed for one night in the midst of the heatwave throughout Europe. First impression was very good. Valet and bellman greeted us and took care of our car quickly and then grabbed all of our bags. This is a grand old dame of Rome located right on Via Venetto, which is where you can find many of Rome’s best hotels. It is a well-located but slightly less busy road, which makes it very quiet yet convenient. The lobby is fairly grand and there was no wait to checkin or go to our room at around 11am. The first room we were assigned was a bit warmer than I like. (I can only sleep in a room that can get colder than 70 degrees Fahrenheit.) We left the room to give it a few hours to cool down, but unfortunately when we got back to the room it was still too warm for me to sleep comfortably. Isabella at the front desk first sent up an engineer to see if he could get the system to function more efficiently, but when he could not, she immediately assigned us a new room down the hall with very very good air conditioning. She was very helpful and understanding. She personally made what could have been an uncomfortable stay into a great stay. Thanks Isabella and thanks Marriott!

We stayed here in June 2026 with our three kids (ages 10, 8 and 6) and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind and helpful with taxis, dinner reservations and special treats for the kids. The location is fantastic—such a nice area while still being close to all the sights.

Wonderful hotel! We are a family of two parents and 3 teens. We spent 4 nights at this hotel. As you can imagine, the hotel experience was “make or break” for our days in Rome. It was definitely “make”! The hotel was great and so were the staff. The one meal we had on property was exquisite (though not cheap)!
But I will say that the great punctuations on every day, for my spouse and I and even the kids, were our evenings with Ricardo and Jericho (and their colleagues) at the hotel lounge. What an enthusiastic, professional and fun-loving group! They welcomed us with incredible warmth every day with great conversation and service. We looked forever to it each day. Bottom line is that we enjoyed Rome immensely and having this great hotel really made a difference!

Breakfast was good; the air conditioning was awesome!! Within walking distance to everything.

What a delight! Great service, incredible dinner recommendation at Ristorante Gallura, beautiful, spacious room and close to Galleria Borghese and the park. Fabulous breakfast buffet with items to order fresh as well. Great coffee. Rooftop terrace was undurgoing remodeling, but I imagine its views are great.

Was just an excellent experience overall - front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly
