Dirty did not stay there went to another hotel
How dirty and smelly it was
All employees were very helpful.
The manager on duty (Silas) was very friendly, and very helpful in finding us an alternative room when the first one smelled like cigarette smoke.
The first room smelled like smoke (see above), and the second room smelled a bit musty, and the hot tub jets were not working properly. Other than that, all was good!
Just a few details would make the hotel more inviting: replace dirty-looking, torn table cover of table at coffee; sweep/clean the steps/doormat at entrance.

Nice hotel but the AC in our room was pretty loud at night which made it hard to sleep. Everything else was good though - clean, good location, breakfast was solid. Just mentioning in case your a light sleeper like me.

My kids absolutely LOVED the waffle machine at breakfast! They made like 3 waffles each lol. Staff was really friendly and helpful with recommendations for things to do around town. We had a comfortable stay here and would definitely come back when visiting Salida again.
Stayed here in late April after ski season wrapped up and it was perfect timing - not too crowded and rates were reasonable. The room was spacious and clean, staff at check-in was welcoming. Only small issue was the WiFi was a bit slow in our room but honestly not a big deal. Overall really solid choice for exploring the area.
The room was very clean, the linens, towels smelled very clean with no stains. I felt extremely comfortable sleeping here and using the facilities.

It smells very musty, the rooms should be aired out before guests arrive. The whole hotel smells musty, like mold is starting to form.
Once I aired out the room, I couldn't smell it at all in the room.
