What I didn't like was breakfast because it was a lot of choices, but I didn't like how everything was pork they could've had better choices, for people who don't eat pork, just make it where everyone can enjoy! That would be more appreciative

No drawers in the room to store clothing.

Needed better door locks.

When my boyfriend and I got to the hotel at night in the check in date, the lady at the front desk asked if either of us were 21. We aren’t, but we ARE over 18 and have never had an issue booking before. Apparently, to book with this hotel you have to be 21 or older, which in some cases would be understandable, in this case it was not. NOWHERE on the site does it say you have to be 21. When you check who all is staying it gives the option of “adult- 18 and older” or “child- 17 and younger” so we’re classified as adults. That’s one whole thing in itself.

The OTHER thing was, on the site it says “payment due at property at check in.” I got a charge for $5.44 the morning of, on my card that’s on file. I thought it was weird but didn’t think anything of it and went about my day. When we got to the hotel after she asked about our age she said her manager ran my card earlier in the morning and it declined, which is not true because I saw the charge on my account, and asked if we had another card. (Which I gave and she never tried running it) I asked why they were running my card if it states payment is due at the time of check in. She said it was company policy. Which was also understandable but weird because the website says PAYMENT DUE ON ARRIVAL. I was also confused because why are you running my card when it say payment due the time of check in and if it was a problem that I wasn’t over 21 why are you also running my card knowing I’m not 21. (No one ever tried reaching out to me to contact me about this)

The lady at the front desk made several phone calls for 5 minutes and only two of which went through. One to what I’m assuming was a manager and on to another hotel. She called the manager to ask if they did check ins under 21 and apparently she said no. Then she called the Scottish in down the street asking if they had rooms open.

I believe this hotel is under construction. The lobby was a mess as they were putting new furniture in it. Our room looked like it was being prepped to be painted as the walls had several areas where you could see old paint and plaster. We had the room with the spa in it, there was also a lounging chair that was really out of place. It cost over $300 for two nights which I think is a little steep for a room that was in the process of being renovated.

I booked a room with a garden tub. Expecting it to be, well in a bathroom. But it was inconveniently placed inside the bedroom area right up against the bed. Along with a worn out chase lounge. I mean really it took the place of the second bed. For some may seem ideal. But nothing like we had thought it would be. It was tacky and uncomfortable.
