Nice hotel next to the Pella golf court, with spacious rooms.
For an American hotel the breakfast offers quite some options, but still not what you would expect in most European places.
To visit the village you will need a car, as it is a bit far.
Staff was friendly, but I think their appearance didn’t fit the hotel; clothes with holes, flip flops and smoking in front of the hotel.
Close to the lake and Pella! Nice place!
The property was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shout out to Maude(I believe that was her name). Very lovely lady working the night shift at the front desk.
The staff was kind when they were interacting with me.
When I arrived around 5 PM, I waited close to 10 minutes to be addressed by staff although I could hear someone behind the bar area. When I was addressed, I was told I only had 1 room booked, although I had 2. After showing staff a screenshot of my confirmation, they did find me a second room but the 2 rooms were on total opposite ends of the hotel. The one room looked as if it wasn't meant to be used. There was cleaning solution with a rag in the bathroom, outlet covers not on, refrigerator unplugged, and what appeared to be splattered paint in the corner of the room.
Walls were so thin, we could hear the people talking next door. Dust was everywhere even on the coffee maker. Very disappointed for the price we paid per night as they inflated the price to over 3 times as much for the Tulip festival.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
The hot tub broke so we didn’t get to use it. There were no towels for the pool so we had to drip dry.
Breakfast, staff (Kim) parking fine.
got 2 bedroom suite. remodeling put the kitchen table in the sleeping area, which was fine except there was NO light near the table. Fold out sofa sleeper lumpy, poor lighting in kitchen/lounge area. remodeling made the refrigerator not open fully. Kitchen sink hot/cold reversed. Asked for walk in shower but got tub with some grab bars, too low to use. we were there for one of their 3 busy weeks. Staff overwhelmed. We stayed 4 nights. Overall facility has 3 shower rooms but this room was mobility enhanced room. NOT ADA compliant. Elderly guest was not able to use the shower. eventually got one of 3 tub seats but did not help. tub too tall. operable windows broken/screwed closed. phone available but no pen/paper. birds living in broken soffit. asked for but did not get changed bed sheets. had to go to lobby to get more towels. exercise room very limited. lobby toilet out of order.
Beautiful view
Clean and natural environment
Lovely location on a golf course, out of town. Expected quiet retreat experience.
Rooms were not soundproof. Adjoining room guests were loud at 10pm and woke us up at 6:30am with loud talking.
The desk staff were extremely helpful
Location
Poor breakfast
It is located by the golf course and a little ways out of town so it was a beautiful setting.
Walls were not very sound buffered- there was a dog barking in the room next door( very loudly)!
