It is a hidden gem, that is close to the mall and restaurants. I loved the pool, as the water was the perfect temperature. The breakfast was great.

The staff, especially the front desk staff, were kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful, especially the staff during check-in. There were a lot of large parties happening, and it was very busy despite the late hour - they checked us in quickly and gave us extra pillows and blankets for the pull-out couch.
There was barely any grout in our bathroom. So much so that the tiles moved when you walked on them, and in one instance, pinched my kiddos' feet. To that point, the bathroom was so tiny, it was really hard for me to get showers done for the kids. The entrance via the back of the hotel required a keycard, which would have been the right call, except the door was permanently unlocked. I didn't need to swipe my card to get in - it just opened without it. This felt completely unsafe, especially with a poorly lit parking lot in the back at night - anyone could have just walked in the back entrance.
The pool was honestly absolutely disgusting. You couldn't see the bottom, the water was so cloudy. And at one point, my son slipped on the pool deck, and when he got up, his legs were covered in grey paint flecks. We avoided the pool for the remainder of the stay. The grounds had garbage and cigarette butts strewn everywhere on Sunday and Monday, and, to be honest, the hotel was just dated. The whole thing could use a refresh, badly. It's a shame because the staff was so great. The hotel was not.
My first time at this property for a special occasion. The customer service was excellent. Offered water around the clock. Breakfast was outstanding and lots of free food. Rooms were clean . Highly recommend

It’s kind of going downhill.
Hyatt place Lombard is a great place to go to. We have always been a Hilton customers but this item we switched . Customer service was above and beyond. Very friendly and professional team. Happy hours at the bar was excellent
