The location was okay
The was no curtains to prevent lights from coming in and our room faced the parking lot. The juice at breakfast was hot and there was a stain on the bed.
The time AWAY from the hotel. The website failed to mention that the pool was DRAINED!!
The pullout sofa had a nasty stain on it! The pool was drained/under construction & the website didn't mention it!! The breakfast area floor is STICKY!! Front desk staff was not inviting!! This was the 1st and very last time my family visit my hometown & stay here

Not enough pillows, coffee on request wouldn’t accommodate the need for all of us. Reported an unlawful smell getting off elevator never addressed.
I rate chain motels a 4 when they're up to what I consider the chain's standards. This location has the potential for a five--but they have some issues to iron out.
Let's get the negatives out of the way first. Our room had two places where electrical outlets were missing--one of the holes was on the nightstand to the right side of the bed, so no electrical outlet or USB port handy there. The bottom panel of the headboard, below that opening, was loose--so perhaps someone had tried to work on it? Well, we travel with some extension cords, and so we were able to get the needed plugs to that bedside--but they need to finish the room.
I wonder if Choice Hotels recently acquired this property and is in the process of tidying up?
The other correction I'd want is for them to swap the desk and sofa. The sofa and TV are on the same wall--put the sofa opposite and people can sit to watch a show.
On the upside, the suite itself was extra-spacious and comfy. There's a verygenerous entryway and office/lounge space, and the bed area separated by a knee wall. The bathroom is fully enclosed but there's a second sink in the room as well--that's rather generous. As is usual for Choice hotels, the staff was pleasant and the complementary breakfast good--tho' I wish they'd add oatmeal to the mix.

There were stains on the bedsheets… my room had broken things left and right.. the bathroom had glitter glue on the door… breakfast toast had mold on it.. the pool smelt like it had a little to much chlorine… my personal experience wasn’t the best.. I will not be staying here again.
I liked the distance from the cheer comp venue.
Me and my family typically stay here but this time, I woke up with ants crawling on me and in both queen beds.
