I had not stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for at least a decade and was pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms had been updated. It now compares favorably with the nearby Hampton Inn. At breakfast, I loved the automated coffee machines that grind the beans on the spot.
Maybe it was just bad timing on my part, but at breakfast the scrambled eggs and potatoes were nearly cold. But within ten minutes, fresh hot replacements were brought.

Breakfast was disappointing, pancake and juice machine were broken.
Convenient
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was nice, recently renovated, black out curtains were great. Breakfast was standard, coffee was above average for a hotel.
There was a hole and previous water leak in the top of our shower that was never repaired.
The GM was so kind, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Not sure if the pool is supposed to be heated but it was very cold, and cloudy. My kids wanted to swim so that was a bummer. Breakfast was also burnt twice during our stay.

the location was central to my plans. kroger's was in the same parking lot :)
the highway was noisy. the bowen center sign was WAY to bright & flashed 24/7. the view from our room was awful.
Very clean and friendly staff
The parking was terrible cones in parking lot hard to get around . I was pulling a uhaul and there wasn't enough room with goin on curbs to get out of parking lot.
Location was perfect, staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable
