Good value and a great stay.
Pros:

It was an older hotel but very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location as it allowed quick access to I-70. Several restaurants that you could walk to near the hotel.

Cons:

Room door had a small issue with sticking but we realized what was needed to ensure it didn’t stick as we left.

There are much better options in Salina if you don't need a hotel for pets.
Pros:

Honestly, there isn't much. I didn't even stay for the free breakfast, as I wanted to leave and get out of the hotel and on the road as soon as possible. The AC and internet did work. They did allow pets as per my confirmed reservation.

Cons:

The hotel is in bad condition. Mold and pealing paint. Clogged sink, barely functional shower head, chirping smoke detector went off in the middle of the night at 12:30 AM - Room 105. They were able to get me a different room, which was equally run down as the first one.

The people in Salina were very courteous and the inside while old, was clean.
Pros:

Standard breakfast, very clean and replenished in a timely manner.

Cons:

The exterior was in poor cosmetic condition. The new La Quinta we moved to in the Denver area was night and day different. It is surprising that La Quinta allows such a wide variation in appearance, and speaks poorly of first impression quality control. Given a choice, we would likely choose a facility with a better appearance.

Pros:

The man at the front desk was an absolute professional. The hotels water heater had gone out and some of the guests had been taking their frustrations out on him. Despite that he was still polite and professional in a situation where most people's patience would have been exhausted, he didn't let it change his quality of service.

Pros:

Not a good hotel and very rude person at the front desk after the morning shift. I will definitely not stay here again. It’s not worth the money.

I would like a partial refund for my troubles and lack of promptness to correct the situation.
Pros:

It was close to a great Mexican restaurant

Cons:

Magnetic door cards are outdated and needed to make endless trips up & down elevator to get entry card re magnetized to get in room.
Not cool at all. The tv did not work and I told them; they did nothing no partial refund just smile.
