This is a hotel that on the highway but tucked away enough that you don’t hear the cars. We came in early March, so my review will Be different than those who come during the summer. The hotel was quiet and clean. It is very well maintained.
The lobby doubles as their breakfast area. The breakfast comes with the cost of your stay. It’s not the biggest breakfast spread I’ve ever had but it covers all the essentials It has something for everyone and you won’t go hurry. Breakfast at the time of this review is served from 6 am to 9:30 am. So it’s great for early risers. I needed to set an alarm to make it in time. I like that coffee/tea is available at all times.
Our room was a good size. The bathroom is a little tight but there is a sink just outside for you to get ready while someone else is showering. I found the bed to be very comfortable. We got a room with two beds. There was a nice desk area and a small table and chairs to sit at. Plenty of lighting and plugs for all your devices. There was a nice sized TV but the cable channel we were trying to watch was a little glitchy.
There is a large pool right off the lobby. We didn’t use it but it definitely looked inviting. I didn’t notice the hot tub, but there is a shower in the pool area to get the chlorine off.
There are elevators and Dollie’s to bring your stuff up to the room. There are only two that I saw so it’s first come first served. We were on the top floor in the corner so we didn’t hear any of our neighbors.
I will say that there was a surprise fee of $70 that we didn’t know about as a security deposit for the room. I get that this is necessary but I wish it was included on their list of fees because I had not prepared for it and that took away from my fun money. They said I would get it back if we didn’t wreck the room so we’ll see.
Overall this was a great hotel for us
And I would recommend.
Due to the way it was listed on Priceline, I thought I was booking at the real Holiday Inn which I will take the blame for. The hotel was under construction so I first got a whiff of paint which stuck in my throat. I explained to the front desk that this was not the hotel we booked and wanted to get our money back so we could be with family at the real Holiday Inn but since we booked through a 3rd party that wasn’t going to happen. When we got to our room, the AC was on full blast at 65 during the coldest day of the year. I quickly turned the heat on and after 15 minutes the room started to warm. There is no room cleaning unless you request it and there was only 2 bath towels in the room. The worst part of the entire experience was there was no hot water the entire time we were there. It was icy cold and painful to take a shower. This was reported but nothing was done about it.
I would not stay there again.

Fine employees
The room was so tiny you could barely move. The bathroom door couldn’t close easily. My husband went to take a tiny bag of peanuts & the night manager said they were only for people who were members! It cost me almost $600 for three horrible days and a bag of peanuts was denied! I also worn them at the front desk that I was itching my legs were itching my arms were itching or something was wrong! I want my money back!
Not clean
The breakfast, pool and location.
Staff
That the rooms need updating and painting there are water leak stains on the ceiling.
Very nice room with all the appliances.
Could have used a freezer in the refrigerator to freeze some ice packs for the trip. The air conditioning was ice cold however the humidity in the room was a bit high and made everything feel damp.
The sheets had stain and the bathroom was dirty and full of hair in the bath tub.
I didnt like how the bed sheets had stains.
Bed was very comfortable!
Couldn't sit at table and see TV
Very attentive and polite crew at front desk. People responsible for the breakfast always polite and prompt when it comes to serving a good food.
Any chance the jacuzzi could be reopened? Really missed it.
Pool. Coffee was good.
Lack of cleanliness of rooms, comfort of bed, dust on lamps, microwaved eggs, and outdated decor.
