We were in Freeport for two nights on our way to Booth Bay.
Pros:

It was close to LL Bean.

Cons:

Our room felt crowded. The pool did’t seem clean and it was worn.

It would have been fine at the regular price per night, but it is not worth $367 plus tax ($400).
Pros:

The hotel was consistent with other Hampton Inns we have stayed at over the years.

Cons:

I was unaware that the price per night doubled from Thursday to Friday. I expected to pay $184+tax for both nights, but the second night turned out to be $367+tax ($400.12). A Hampton Inn room is fine at the regular price, but it is in no way worth $400 per night. I will pay a lot more attention to the full price next time I book a hotel.
