Kurzer halt in Charlotte
Pros:

Sehr nette Dame am Empfang. Sauberes Zimmer, schöner Pool. Frühstück typisch amerikanisch.

You get what you pay for, ok for a quick 2 night stay I guess!

Location was good & close to highway

Cons:

Most of the property is very old & outdated! The elevator had to get fixed a lot for the duration of our stay. We took the steps a lot. Our room smelled bad of cigarettes and we had a non smoking room. They only offered to spray which didn’t help at all. Lights flickering on & off.

Pros:

The staff member who checked us in and out was friendly.

Cons:

The room we stayed in was HORRIBLE!!! When we walked in the room wreaked of this disgusting stench which we discovered was standing water under the sink. There was mold everywhere throughout the bathroom. We went to open the window, however there was no screen. The refrigerator did not work, and the air the second night seemed to be on the fritz. So disappointing as I have stayed at more than my fair share of Best Western hotels.

HORRIBLE and disgusting
Pros:

Didn’t eat breakfast because the hotel has roaches in the room I killed one thank God I bought my RAID spray didn’t go in the pool because if the hotel is nasty like that, there’s no way they’re cleaning that pool.

Cons:

they do not clean rooms at all until they are checked out. I had to go downstairs every day. I was there for four days to get clean linen . The front desk was upset because I asked for clean linen every day they gave me an extra pillow then the next shift lady when I asked for five pillowcases in the morning, the next shift lady said who gave you another pillow I said to her, it’s not like these are goose down pillows
What in the world did that matter? The room was so dusty. I had to go downstairs and let her know someone needs to come upstairs with a rag and a spray bottle and dust my room so two Mexican women came in the room and I told them it only consist of one person the other. The other Mexican lady stood there and grabbed my pillow that they gave me from downstairs and I asked her. Why are you touching my pillow? It only takes one person to dust in here and use both need to get out so they have dust the room and I told them this is how you do it so I taught them how to dust that hotel is garbage and I would think because of where that hotel is they would have quality standards. I will never return back to that hotel and I made sure that I put all the linen in one place in the room. I stripped the beds, stripped the bathroom put it all nice and neat and I put all the garbage altogether. I made sure I took pictures just in case they want to take my $50. Deposit not to mention the first sheet that they had on the bed when you entered had three big holes in it I meant to take a picture of it, but I took it and put it outside the door horrible. How could housekeeping not see that when all they do is checkouts and when you ask them for something off their card, they can’t give you a wash you have to walk all the way downstairs to get a washcloth. Did I do that? No, I took it off her cart.
